    I bought this as a gift for my son and he loved it. As a college student, living in an apartment and watching his expenses, he had only the most basic internet package/cable package. With Chromecast he can now watch movies, Netflix, etc. on his TV (although a small screen it is larger than his laptop screen) for a more enjoyable experience. My daughter, who is a grad student also watching her expenses, had received one as a gift and highly recommended it.

    Easy set up, compact for traveling, and it works. I can mirror my videos on One drive from my LG phone to the TV.

    I was completely impressed with this device , since I bought the google chromecast I haven’t even watched tv on my satellite service I have watched everything from the internet on my phone streamed to tv . And it also connects to my jbl speaker with google built in to it which makes the sound even better from the tv , it’s like surround sound without wires and being able to tell it what to do instead of finding the remote lol

    Easy to stream shows and music from your phone to your tv for entertain. Not always a flawless connection right away but works well most of the time.

    I use this daily and have purchased a total of 4. I cast Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, music and pics/videos from my Android phone. You do of course need subscriptions for things such as Netflix and Hulu. With my Google Home I can control it with voice commands which is useful. It's fairly easy to install by plugging it into an HDMI and power source (comes with usb and wall power cord) and then download the app to your phone and it walks you through it.
