Good product simple and easy to install I recome=mend this product

Love this thing. Cheap and let's you sling video from your phone to your tv in a few taps of your fingers.

I started with the original Chromecast, but recently I decided to give that one to my girlfriend and buy the new one. I knew that there was only one real difference (other than the design), and that was the addition of the 5GHz WiFi support, something which I don't yet have access to in my apartment. Still works great, and if you don't have one, I definitely recommend it, but if you're only looking to upgrade your old one, there's no real need for that.

I couldn't belive how easy this was to set up... Now I have access to so much more than just cable TV.

Super happy with the updated chromecast. Exactly what I was expecting- more of the same great streamer experience but with less lag and HD quality !

After talking with the LG rep, he pointed out the product as being the best deal for the money spent.

For streaming device it works flawlessly now I just can't wait for the apps on the phones to catch-up.

This product is very easy to use and handy since you can cast right from your phone/tablet. Great for guests.

I play Youtube programs on my ipad and use this device to connect to TV, and it is easy to set up.

I upgraded because my old Chromecast had issues with connectivity - particularly the frequent disconnects. Didn't really resolve that. I have an AC1900 wireless router that gets decent speed with other devices. It's bigger than the first gen also. Not a huge deal as it just dangles from the AV receiver. Overall the Chromecast is a neat little device for streaming services. Can't say whether this is better than Roku or other devices.

Bought this over roku since it was so much cheaper and it's great, I love being able to just use my phone and not have to worry about anything else.

ChromeCast is awesome! It works great for "Casting" all images, not just for TV but for pictures and as well.

Set up was fairly simple and it works great. i am able to transfer netflix and YouTube easily to my tv

I'm in the Google ecosystem. The Chromscast seamlessly integrates with Google Home. It can play a variety of things. For instance, I issued a complex command like 'play the Panthers game on Living Room TV'. It smartly played the Panthers game from YouTube TV onto the Chromecast plugged into my Living Room TV. This integration itself makes it worth it. Lastly, this device is way more durable than the Amazon Fire Stick. I had the Fire Stick which lasted all of two months before I started experiencing issues.

The most convenient way to interact with your phone/tablet/iPAD/PC/laptop and watch their content on TV. You can almost cast anything from your, say, phone to TV. Also, if any app doesn't support casting, you can open the app's website on Chrome and cast from their, or simply mirror your screen and if your phone doesn't support mirroring, download any mirroring app and watch your phone's screen on TV. Nice job Google.

Easy to use and lots of features. I love that you can operate the TV with a Google Assistant.
