Works great with android tablets

If you take it somewhere else, like a friends house, you have to go through the setup process again using their wi-fi network and password. Once setup this works fairly well on android tablets. If you have a ipad you will have to buy an app for this to work. There are some free apps but they are limited to what you can display, like pictures. If you want to display something else like videos, you need another app for that.

chromecast for smart tv

I was told that this device would make it easier however I do not have an Iphone I have tried to set it up with my laptop--after I get it dounloaded I loose the program--I have also tried to use an amazon fire and that didn't work either! My wife called Bestbuy and didn't get much help, The reviews say this is a good product however I am not seeing it! I think the instructions should be better if you don't have an iphone!
