    The Chromecast is often thought of as competing with the Apple TV, but that's not exactly true. The Chromecast has a very limited UI, focused more on using the UI on your smart devices that you already own to create a familiar and seemless user experience. For what this product does (allowing you to project media content onto a larger display), it does a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend, as long as you have done your research, and its capabilities suffice your needs.
