    After some initial difficulty getting Chromecast installed & functioning, it has worked great. It wasn't as "plug and play" as the 3-step installation instructions suggested, but I was able to get tech support from Chromecast. Because MLB.TV doesn't currently support the version of software used by my Samsung Smart TV, I use Chromecast to watch MLB.TV, pushing it from my phone to my TV.

    I actually love having the option to mirror phone and cast to tv, but the problem is it doesn't always work. It's very glitchy and drops connection a lot. Also it kind of defeats the purpose if you are trying to stream using your phones internet because it has to be connected to wifi. Wish they would find a way for it to connect directly to phone without having to run through your home wifi.

    I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy tv apps and movies from their smart device on their big screen. You can cast directly to the tv from the apps. Warning not compatible with all apps and you must plug the chrome cast into the wall it does not have a battery. You can cast even if the tv is off you can just click cast and the tv comes on or at least my Samsung does.
