Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy tv apps and movies from their smart device on their big screen. You can cast directly to the tv from the apps. Warning not compatible with all apps and you must plug the chrome cast into the wall it does not have a battery. You can cast even if the tv is off you can just click cast and the tv comes on or at least my Samsung does.

Good for pushing video from phone to TV

It wasn't as "plug and play" as the 3-step installation instructions suggested, but I was able to get tech support from Chromecast. Because MLB.TV doesn't currently support the version of software used by my Samsung Smart TV, I use Chromecast to watch MLB.TV, pushing it from my phone to my TV.

Great concept works sometimes

It's very glitchy and drops connection a lot. Also it kind of defeats the purpose if you are trying to stream using your phones internet because it has to be connected to wifi. Wish they would find a way for it to connect directly to phone without having to run through your home wifi.

The ONLY thing is that you cant download thing directly to the chromecast. It pretty much turns your tv into a smart tv and you device, like a phone, into a remote. Some people think it MIRRORS your phone, which it can, but thats not what it does. It kind of turns your phone into a remote and you scroll through the app on your phone but it will only play on the tv. Its pretty awesome.
