    So, got this over holidays with price match and well worth it. I know there was a newer version but don't have 4k tv and did not require it as not much more of a difference otherwise. It works as advertised and since I have Google Home as well, can use my voice to control some of the functionality of it. It is a welcome addition to my fairly smart home that currently exists, lol.

    I love the new chromecast. It works flawlessly with ALL my devices and seamlessly transfers from one device to another with just the push of a button. The quality is great but is very dependent on your Internet speed so dont assume 2 mB wifi will stream flawlessly. What I have noticed is that if the internet is slower, instead of buffering it with reduce the quality of the video streaming.
