AMAZING
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.these chromecast are amazing. first thing i did when i set it up and started using it was recommended it to my family and friends who don't have one. makes watching netflix, hulu, playstations vue, youtube, and certain streams like twitch etc from my laptop or phone to the tv too easily. would highly not recommend if you have no internet or smart phone tho, clearly.

Not optimal for streaming from the web

It works well with the built in apps such as netflix and Hulu. However it falls down on streaming programming from the internet. for example steaming syfy or history. When there is any amount of action the picture begins to pixilate significantly. I think the fire stick works much better for this kind of use.
