    The stability and responsiveness is much better than the first gen. I still don't like this because it's impossible to pair in a hotel or anything with an interstitial page, like its brother the Google home. Other than that it works quite nice in a controlled wifi situation. I have this on my projector so I can cast my laptop screen wirelessly when doing work.

    I replaced chrome cast with ultra chrome cast when I bought 4K tv. Honestly, didn't see much difference. Even though I tried to run a 4K video from YouTube, chrome cast wasn't able to cast it in 4K. I plugged in the Ethernet cable, so the connections is stable.. but still I see HD and FHD but not 4K. Nevertheless it's a good product, the connection looks much stable than the previous version. You have to spend $35 more bucks for this than the other one.
