    The Google Chromecast works as advertised until it is placed on a network with users unfamilar with it. For some reason, Google decided to send a notification to everyone on the network the Chromecast is on when something is casted, and this results in people frustratingly stopping playback. When this is not an issue, the product works as advertised. Do note that there is an additional power cable that must be plugged into the unit before it will operate.
