    This is really handy if you're using a non-smart LED/LCD TV. Let's you cast wide range of audio/video streaming services like Youtube, Netflix, Pandora, Spotify, etc. You can also cast your chrome browsing session or entire desktop. Has improved Wi-Fi performance over it's predecessor and offers support for 802.11 ac and 5 GHz bands, also streams content in 4K.

    bought the pair of these for our tvs. unfortunately one tv was so old it didn't have an HDMI interface! (and we upgraded to a smart tv with chromecast-like features built in) but for our bedroom tv, it works beautifully and gives us options we wouldn't otherwise have. i ended up giving the second to my mom. set up and learning to use it was harder than most google products - my mom couldn't do it herself and i'm pretty tech savvy and it took me some time.
