    My only disappointment was some versions of Android do not work well. For example Android 4.4 will not cast its display screen to the device. It does however cast U-tube videos quite well. Newer Android versions work fine in casting the Android display to the TV. It would be nice to know what versions of Android will cast their screens to the device.

    For any action/streaming picture updates on the TV using the Chromecast module gives "stepped" time sequences as opposed to connecting my laptop via HDMI. Therefore action is NOT smooth and realistic as it is via a direct HDMI connection. However, for simple displays on a large screen for spreadsheets, news articles, etc, Chromecast is excellent.
