    This thing works like it says it will. Surprise. I can take stuff from my phone and throw it up on my TV without to many issues. I can take stuff from Chrome and put it on the TV as well. It's a great way to share things with the family without having to hook a laptop up to the TV. The only down side is the Apple app is really lacking.

    We enjoy casting video from our phones for things that our cable does not provide. It seems to lose some resolution though. That could be related to the phone (Note 5). We have 2 Chromecast devices that are networked with our Google home devices and the Google assistant on our phones. They work well together. Overall, we really like how the Chromecast fits in with our home automation.
