    I have used Roku devices for years now, from sticks to Roku run TVs. I bought the Chromecast to mess around with and to use on the road where I can stream from my phone instead of making a hotspot. It is clever in its simplicity and is useful as an additional device but I wouldn't pick it as a primary streaming device. For that go with a Roku, they have best interface and user experience hands down.

    Purchasing Google Chromecast was one of the best purchases I have made in a very long time. It changed the way I watch Tv. Nothing is more satisfying than convience, that’s exactly what the cast does for me. Forget buying an expensive tv, plug your chromecast into any TV w a USB port and you are ready to go!!!

    Easy to install. Works well with android devices, but poorly with iMac (streaming video with no audio). Performance is compatible with some blue-ray players pre-installed with streaming option. Videos are cropped on the edge on my panasonic TV even on full screen mode. Awesome to project pictures on android phones to a large TV screen.
