    Its good enough for most things you want to stream. Cant stream amazon prime video though.

    This works well with the Wi-Fi connection and is more reliable than my fire stick. Only thing I do not like is that I have to 'cast' to it in order to utilize it. So, I have to turn my phone's Wi-Fi on, cast something to it, then turn my Wi-Fi back off on the phone. Also, I am probably not using the full potential of this device since I don't hardly know everything that can be cast to it.

    I purchased the Chromecast to stream Sony vue to my tv. Initially, I was hesitant because I knew the service would ultimately stream from my phone as I'm trying to "cut the cable cord" but I have to say, this is awesome! The interface with vue is awesome and much easier to navigate than even using it on my Playstation!

    I have these on all of the TVs in my house. When I switched from cable to YouTube TV, I thought I would get pushback from my kids, but they love not having to deal with cable boxes anymore. Pull up the app on your phone (YouTube TV, Netflix, etc.) and just send the video to whichever TV you want to watch.

    Chromecast is an excellent addition to my home studio, if SD quality is sufficient. I often cast movies from apps on my phone to my TV set. Sometimes even webpage player is able to redirect to chromecast, which is indeed very convenient. Works great with home automation. I have total 3 of these.
