great to turn your regular TV into a smart TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a first gen chromecast so I figured this one would be better but for the first week or so I was having connectivity issues and found out it was because Google’s Home and Chromecast servers were down, now it works but Netflix is the only thing that comes in blocky and terrible quality.

I HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW I WAS GOING TO SEE MOVIES WITHOUT PAYING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE, SO EVERYBODY TOLD ME PURCHASE CHROMCAST. IT WILL GIVE YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE MOVIES YOU THINK YOU WANT TO SEE. YOU HAVE AN OPTION. SO I TOOK THE ADVICE OF MANY . AND IM GLAD I DID.

Good improvement in performance

Regarding the Chromecast, I had the generation 1 Chromecast which gets unresponsive and has to unplug to reset also mirroring chrome browser wasn't always working. The gen2 is not perfect given the processing capacity in the small dongle.

Not perfect, but worth the price

There were a few times that the live broadcast resumed, but it did not stream it to my TV. I would have to re-connect to get it to stream to the TV. I have also used it to stream Netflix and YouTube videos, but I didn't encounter this issue. If not for that issue, I'd give it 5 stars.

Good performance

It is an excellent decide to cast media from any platform mobile devices. Even I am using my living room t.v as photo canvas, it displays all my vacation photo from Google+, remembers the vacation time. Hats off to the chrome cast.

Quick and easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My smart TV already has Netflix on it but it is an older TV and doesn't work with my Samsung Smartthings hub or Google Home Mini. As soon as I plugged this in to my TV I instantly had access to it from everything including the ability to turn it off and on with my voice. So worth it!
