    Install took around 30 minutes cause the setup kept failing. Now works great, a bit slower than I hope but manageable.

    I have three chromecast devices. I use one in the living room, one in the master, and I take one on the road with me when I travel. I love hooking it up to a hotel TV and using a private WiFi connection (the hotel’s WiFi re-broadcast from my laptop) to watch the same stuff as if I was at home.

    I was introduced to ChromeCast a few years ago when recovering from something quite devastating and debilitating. Now I wouldn't go back to cable TV. This works very well for casting things onto my big screen (another product I bought at Best Buy YEARS ago and I have no complaints.

    This device just allows me to play videos and other content by using my cell phone. Without a cell phone I wouldn’t be able to do nothing, I prefer the firetv. But other than that, it makes your tv smart by using all the apps that allow streaming in your phone like chrome or Netflix

    I have the first gen chromecast and i loved it. Now that I have upgraded to a 5 ghz wifi router and the old chromecast could only connect at 2.4 ghz, I decided to upgrade to the second generation chromecast. I can truly say that this one's faster in practically everything - connecting, streaming, etc.
