    We have a really good mesh network (google) at our house, and an internet speeds. With that said, I thought connecting the Chromecast would be very simple. Unfortunately, it was not the easiest set up. I'm not sure why. However, once it was acclimated with the environment, and programmed, it has been a joy to use.

    I am so glad that we purchased this. It is amazing and works great with our phones and tables. I love that we can control the volume of the televisions within the app as well, which is great when you realize that your children have turned up the volume on their television.

    During the holidays I visited my parents and they were watching movies on their iPads. I decided to help them out and got them a Chromecast to allow them to stream from their iPad directly to the TV. My 60 yearold father found it easy to connect and now uses it nightly!

    After using the chrome cast for over a year, we are still using it on one of our TVs. Because they are simple designs and upgradable, they seem to last for quite some time with software updates applied every so often to improve compatibility with new tech

    I'm disappointed that more apps don't work on this device. I can't cast through Amazon prime or DIRECTV and I PAY for those! I did recommend to a friend and she bought, but her husband said it was the same as roku so she returned it. Great concept, but we really don't use it much.
