This new updated Chromecast works great. I loved the original Chromecast, but as today's technology updated, the original Chromecast became less reliable. I have much better connections and I don't get that message that says, my Chromecast is outdated.

I love these. I've put them in all my rooms and it makes streaming shows and information easy. My only complaint would be that it cannot be used without an active internet connection. ie. you cant stream content straight from your phone to the device without a workaround.

Nice if you don't have a smart TV. I can cast my tablet.

I purchased the Chromecast because of the slow Internet we have in the country. We were unable to stream movies using our DSL. Our cell connection, and unlimited data package, are very fast. The connection has allowed us to enjoy our Netflix movies with family and friends.

I needed a device that would mirror my tablet on to a large flat screen TV for a meeting at work. I started by looking into some pretty expensive cords, but ended up finding this device at a much more affordable price. It was very effective for what I needed.

Love the Chromecast. It's an outstanding alternative to the more expensive AppleTV. My only complaint is that it's not integrated with the a Apple video interface trough my iPhone. So any movies I've purchased directly from iTunes can't stream through Chromecast.

For playing content generally speaking the chromecast works great, as well as the screen mirroring feature is awesome. One of the things I don't like is there always seems to be a sound delay that happens after pausing videos in google play. And you'd expect that glitch not to happen since this and the app are both google products.

Works great with my chrome book, iPhone, and other devices.

Set was easy, it fills a gap in my cord-cutting plan
