    We already own two Chromecasts, and purchased this one for my son to use at college. All of the kids stream on the mobiles - Chromecast gives an easy way to stream to a large screen whether they're using an iPhone or Android device. And you can't beat the price.

    We remove our cable service and didn't want buy HDMI reason one was both our phone are deferent so we have to buy two type HDMI suited for our phones and this was the best way to mirror our phones ...can be with WiFi or out just use ur hotspot.

    Chromecast is superior in every way I can think of to Roku and Apple TV... *except* when it comes to channel support. Why Amazon is holding out, of all companies, with their Prime Video is beyond me. Not the fault of Google, though. A+ device.

    I use this a lot and have it connected with my LG PF1000U Projector. If I want to do a quick view of my recommended YouTube videos, I just asked Google Home to play my recommended videos. Also, to turn on Netflix I just say a command to my Google Home.

    Don't have a smart TV at home so this is the 2nd one we bought since they make a TV full use. Nowadays most of the content my family watches is on the internet so the chromecast is an easy addition to our TV's. Works really well with google home!
