The quality is great. I use it for screen mirroring and it works perfectly.

You can cast many apps from your phone or just cast your phones screen for unsupported apps. You can also cast from your PC which is perfect. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Easy

I'll have to unplug it and replug it in. Which makes it hard to connect and time consuming. I have to be right next to the wireless to be able to be guaranteed a connection everytime. But once it is connected and ready, it's a great product!

Good upgrade from 1st Gen Chromecast

If im being honest, mirroring your PC to it is still not that great; pixelated and laggy. The other stuff, Youtube, etc are just as good as before, but seem a little quicker. The new design is easier to have on your tv as well, and doesnt block any HDMI ports. Not bad.

Cool, but know what you’re getting

So it’s cool to be able “cast” compatible apps like Netflix and YouTube from your phone or computer to the TV. However, if you think this allows you to cut ties with the cable provider, think carefully about the decision. $11/mo to Netflix, $9/mo to Hulu, $4 to rent a movie from the iTunes Store...by the time you add all this up, you’re paying as much as a cable bill. No streaming app offers any free content worth mentioning. Even Public Television’s app requires you to become a member to see much of the content, so just think about what you’re spending. One cool feature is that with a Google Photos account, your personal photos display on the TV while you’re deciding what watch. I recommend this, but be sure you know what it does and doesn’t do.
