    I didn't really think that I NEEDED a Chromecast, but once I realized all that I could do with it, I am so glad I did. Now, if I want to watch something on YouTube, etc., I can see it on the nice, big screen tv we have instead of a small cell phone screen.

    Does the job for great price. Roku chromecast and Apple TV all have something different to offer with properly correlated price differences. Chromecast difficult UI but cheap, Roku UI friendly but costs more, Apple TV secure and total ecosystem expensive.

    The thing works really well as it's advertised per the 5 stars, I just didn't do my research good enough to know the cast needs its own wifi network.. making it impossible to use without being at home or hotspotting your phone to it (me at deer camp..yeah)

    I purchased Chromecast in hopes of using it for Mirroring. With the program Airparrot 2, mirroring is now a reality on the Chromecast. Additionally, its ability to pull power from a televisions USB port is convenient if you are looking for a "cleaner" setup.

    FREEZE'S TV SOMETIMES .. ITS BASIC AT BEST... IT NEEDS MORE ABILITY TO STREAM EVERYTHING.

    My sister had the old Chromcast in our house for a while. I bought the new one a little bit ago and love the new magnetic design. Chromcast is an amazing easy way to have a display for your phone and computer on your TV, and watch Netflix and Amazon Prime

    This a great product that usually works seamlessly, but you are limited in what and how you can cast. Many times I wish I could cast apps that are not available, and I don't think the Chrome add-on is enough. So just be sure you think about what you would like to cast, to see if this is the product for you.

    Easy to setup, easy to use. Even guests can easily cast if connected to my Wi-Fi. Don't like that idea? You can set it up to only allow your device. Perfect alternative to a cable box! Just download the cable station app, play the show, and cast!
