I love the chromecast I didn't even watch regular TV aa much any more. I wish apple didn't have so many limitations on what you can cast but the google product is awesome! If you have a droid you will love the chromecast for sure

Lots of problems at set up getting it to connect and pull the update. After it finally worked, it’s wonderful. Hate to ding them a star, but it actually took reconfiguring my network to get it working, and their online guides and support were not helpful at all. Very frustrating

I've had the old version and bought a couple of these new ones. I prefer this new version because it is less likely to break at the point where the cord goes into the Chromecast because it has a flexible cord. Highly recommend.

I got this for free for buying the Google pixl. It works fine but if I'm cutting the cord I'm going with the Roku. The Chromecast you need to use a tablet or your phone plus the Chromecast, where the Roku you do not need the extra equipment.

iTunes gift cards are great for anyone. It is perfect for apps, games and music. Buy it for yourself or as gifts for others. I usually buy these when I find good deals on them. I like to have extras on hand just in case I need them.

Google - Chromecast allows me to mirror my phone straight to my TV allowing me to watch anything I stream or play on a much larger screen. Its glitchy at times but it might be because of phone's internet signal. This thing rocks.

This is my fourth chromecast unit. These, together with Netflix have allowed me to cut the cord with the pay-TV providers. True, I don't have the 600 channels I was paying for but, I could never watch them anyway!

I would recommend buying this over and over to any and all consumers interested in a connected home lifestyle. Combined with a Google Home unit, this device can be an extremely convenient way to enjoy entertainment with your family.

I wanted the Chromecast to replace an old one. With a feature that allows one to cast whatever is on the screen (even outside of the Chrome browser), used with a large-screen TV it can make an inexpensive substitute for a projector.

I have been using Chromecast often at home and occasionally at work. For work, its convenient when we want to cast file such as a presentation with your phone. At home, my most frequent application is for casting YouTube.

I don't know what I've been waiting on to get these things! They are great. Sometimes my devices cannot find them and they need a reboot but what computerized device doesn't need a reboot every now and then :) AWESOME for the price!!

We purchased this rather than subscribing to cable t.v. because air reception was ineffective. It has given us the opportunity to watch Netflix and amazon videos on our big screen rather than a laptop. It has glitched twice and we had to reset it, otherwise this would be a 5 star review.

I used Amazon's Firestick before and really didn't see the value. I got this because I also bought a Google Home. The integration is very good and I can play things to the TV just by telling Home to do so. Very happy with it so far.

This product is great if you have home internet with wifi, but useless if you do not. This will work with a hotspot, as long as Chromecast has access to the internet and you have another device that can connect to the same network to stream to it. Bottom line: no internet with wifi, product is useless.

It took a while to buffer and didn’t always work with our phones

So I got this for my inlaws to watch TFC since we were getting rid of cable, and while they were initially hesitant, they are now in love with it. It comes with all the perks of cable TFC, without the high cost..

Waa crashing alot for first few days. Wasnt that impressed but decent price

I use this in my conference room for guests to stream presentations and I couldn’t be happier. There are other options for wireless computer streaming that is far more expensive but this works just a good if not better.

i did not see any much difference between this new device and old version .

If looking to add smart functionality to youre tv this product is the way to go. No complaints and adds tons of features to my tv, especially if you have other google products like google homes or Chromebooks
