Chrome cast is cheap and it helps create a seamless connection between your phone and tv. Over time, my phone has struggled to connect to chromecast, however this could be related to my Wifi and not the device itself. Overall I've been fairly happy with this product!

There's not much to say. If you're familiar with the previous ChromeCast, this is a minor upgrade. If you're not, this is an awesome device to send content from your phone or tablet to your TV. I strongly recommend this.

Very convenient device for watch things in big screen even though most smart tv offer smart tv function now. This product is great alternative for people who don't have smart tv functions. Highly recommended

Chromecast is great. Works well with my projector I have it running through, only problem I have is that some apps do not want to stream through it and if they do they can be difficult at times. Other than that I love it and recommend it to anyone looking for a streaming device!

I really like my chromecast purchase. use it all the time for netflix, youtube, radio and casting in general. Highly recommended to anybody. Though the ultra model is out now, this is still a solid piece of hardware.

For $25 you can cast to your TV from browser, computers, or whatever mobile device. Downside: Unlike ROKU stick, you have to download the apps on to your actual device as opposed to the chromecast.

I purchased it originally to stream my desktop display wirelessly to my living room TV, and it works flawlessly, but now I discovered that its pretty handy when it comes to using Google Apps and Spotify

I was going to get a new smart blu-ray player because the apps on my old one were few and a couple weren't supported anymore and a friend said to get a chromecast. Glad I did. So much you can watch with it. Now I have 2.

I have had several 1st Gen chromcasts and they all worked great but could be finicky with WiFi connections. The second gen connected immediately without a hitch and hasn't lost the connection yet.

This device is amazing! I can play just about anything on it! Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, and the possibilities are just endless! It’s great for television that don’t have SmartTV capabilities.

For a mere $30 I purchased my Chromecast and received a $20 credit to do whatever I'd like on Google Play. Super portable, but my only complaint is that is doesn't store more than one wifi network.. Still worth the price.

I am not the most technologically advanced human. But this little device makes it so I can watch almost anything I want at any time on my television. I am working through all of NCIS from the beginning. Then, who knows?

Chromecast is great, however its hard sometimes to get it to connect. Also it's hard at times to pause what you're watching. I use it with my overhead projector to watch Netflix, Showtime, etc. When it works it's great.

I purchased this chromecast for my 2nd TV, and it works good as expected. I connected it with 5G wifi, while the other chromecast (1st gen) connects to 2.4G wifi, I don't feel much difference of speed though.

Use it for watching YouTube, jamming out to Pandora, as well as Netflix. I will most likely upgrade to the 2018 version with 4K support. This is still a high recommendation even years later.

As expected it does what it is supposed to do. If too far >50 feet from the main router with lots of steel and concrete in the way which is typical of most Florida houses it can be a bit choppy.

Works great but is was a fuss and took a fair number of troubleshooting tries since the device was no help in identifying problem. Solved problem by adding an HDMI extension and now it works perfectly.

So I bought a 2nd Chromecast to use when we travel (for hote use). Sadly, if the hotel internet requires a login screen, there’s no way to use this. Buy an HDMI cable to connect to your device.

I absolutely loved the 1st-Gen Chromecast when it was released. It was such a well thought-out concept that Google pieced together brilliantly, I couldn't help but buy the more updated version for another TV.
