    I've been a fan of chromecasts since the first version, this version is the most reliable as far as resuming playback from your phone/tablet/etc. It will 'disconnect' from you phone's netflix (or similar) app, but reconnect faster and more reliably than the older models.

    The Chromecast installed quickly, but it is not made for a Windows PC. From a Windows PC, only Google's Chrome browser supports ChromeCast, something you find out only be calling Chromecast support. Picture resolution from a high-def laptop to a 1080p TV was a disappointment.

    We decided to get this so that we could watch online church services and music on YouTube from my laptop on our TV. It has been great. The only thing I regret is not getting it a long time ago.

    Works great with my TV and my google home. I like it that I can have my TV just have cool pictures on it so when I'm not watching TV it looks good instead of a big black screen above my fireplace.

    The ChromeCast is undoubtedly the best bang for your buck that you could possibly get when you're in the market for a TV broadcasting device. It's great and definitely worth more than the $35 asking price!

    I got the cromecast with google home, and so far it’s been a pain to use it. Most of the time, when I’m going to stream something from my phone I have to unplugged and plugged back in, also i have to turn off my phone data ( that’s what the guy a costumer service said when I called ). And most of the time it doesn’t show the opticion to connect to my tv on Netflix or YouTube because it can’t find it, I get tired and end up using my old fire stick. Is a great idea but I think they have to make a lot of improvement, I don’t recomend buying this also having no remote is annoying!!

    I bought an LG Smart Tv a few years back and the UI is showing it's age, slow clunky and never really that great to start with. This was a great upgrade for Netflix YouTube and a whole host of other apps.

    Chromecast is a wonderful device which helps you cast whatever you want on your tv so you can see it on a bigger screen. There is a definite use of it if you want to cast anything from your laptop

    I used to use laptop with HDMI to watch some online video on my TV. That's no longer necessary with this small device. Also TV watching now becomes more fun with remote control through my tablet. Highly recommend.

    This is an excellent product which I have in every TV in my home. I recommend it for those with Netflix, Hulu, etc. My kids enjoy watching their favorite movies on it and so do the wife and I.

    Did exactly what I wanted it to do. Allowing me to basically convert my HDTV into a SMART HDTV, to which I can cast my internet from computer and use it as a mirror screen for my tablets and phones. Yep!

    IIt works but not what i needed. I was looking to be able to use the smart link on my phone to hook up to my non smart tv like i do to my new tv without internet. But no, so thats the only reason i returned it.

    I want to be able to cast video from my phone/computer to my TV without having to pay a lot or pay subscription fees. The Chromecast works great, enabling me to watch WatchESPN and YouTube videos on my TV.

    It works great as long as you have a decent Wi-Fi connection.you don't need a tech to come out like you do with the firestick.plug in download the proper apps and you got movies at the cinema from home
