I got the cromecast with google home, and so far it’s been a pain to use it. Most of the time, when I’m going to stream something from my phone I have to unplugged and plugged back in, also i have to turn off my phone data ( that’s what the guy a costumer service said when I called ). And most of the time it doesn’t show the opticion to connect to my tv on Netflix or YouTube because it can’t find it, I get tired and end up using my old fire stick. Is a great idea but I think they have to make a lot of improvement, I don’t recomend buying this also having no remote is annoying!!

I travel a lot and love the Chromecast for my personal and professional needs. Once you navigate around hotel wifi issues, it opens up a lot of possibilities. I'm using it nonstop since I bought it two weeks ago.

I've been a fan of chromecasts since the first version, this version is the most reliable as far as resuming playback from your phone/tablet/etc. It will 'disconnect' from you phone's netflix (or similar) app, but reconnect faster and more reliably than the older models.

A lot of lag still not like a wired connection could improve.

The ChromeCast is undoubtedly the best bang for your buck that you could possibly get when you're in the market for a TV broadcasting device. It's great and definitely worth more than the $35 asking price!

I bought an LG Smart Tv a few years back and the UI is showing it's age, slow clunky and never really that great to start with. This was a great upgrade for Netflix YouTube and a whole host of other apps.

This works better than the amazon fire in my opinion but I think the roku is the best bang for you buck. But if you’re look for something cheap that works this will do. But make sure you don’t leave it plugged in all the time it will overheat.

This was an impulse buy while at the register. Its a life saver. I told my friend about it and also my father is interested in this wonderful creation from google.

It's limited for Apple Products but it's perfect for a galaxy

Unable to talk and use Chromecast at the same time

When the device wants to work it's an awesome to use and very convenient, however there are MANY connection issues with this device connecting to the device that you're using. I find myself resetting, unplugging and restarting the device in order toget it to work with my phone.

The Chromecast installed quickly, but it is not made for a Windows PC. From a Windows PC, only Google's Chrome browser supports ChromeCast, something you find out only be calling Chromecast support. Picture resolution from a high-def laptop to a 1080p TV was a disappointment.

I was hoping that I could use this device in lieu of my apple TV. It has little of the functionality of apple TV and was not able stream things like Amazon easily. The whole set up process was unwieldy and temperamental

The amazon fire is better. I can say it's OK for the price.

It works great as long as you have a decent Wi-Fi connection.you don't need a tech to come out like you do with the firestick.plug in download the proper apps and you got movies at the cinema from home

Did exactly what I wanted it to do. Allowing me to basically convert my HDTV into a SMART HDTV, to which I can cast my internet from computer and use it as a mirror screen for my tablets and phones. Yep!

I want to be able to cast video from my phone/computer to my TV without having to pay a lot or pay subscription fees. The Chromecast works great, enabling me to watch WatchESPN and YouTube videos on my TV.

I bought this one because the old stick version broke. This was a great buy because of the flexibility of the wire it is stronger and won’t have to purchase another for a long time

I bought this product because it was the only one available during Hurricane Florence that had the capability of charging a cell phone. Using it since I have it, I found a really good sound and bass, Bluetooth range and duration of the battery.
