we are really happy with this gadget. I have wifi at home, so I am able to share my screen to our TV from any of my devices. we watch tv shows, movies by casting from our computer which is in another room.

This is an all star device. It does exactly as advertised. Just make sure you have a strong internet connection. If your Wi-Fi is spotty where you plug this in to a TV your playback will be fair at best.

Needed a casting device to mirror the screen of my android tablet on to a HDTV. Works like a charm! No lag, no loss in resolution, perfect color mirroring, looks like I'm on my pc, but the screen is 48"....

I bought the Chomecast for professional presentations of web videos. It wasn't perfect and it took some practice to use, but I found it to be very effective and functional. I'm very glad I got it.

We have put 6 of these on TVs in our office so that our departments can cast their computer screens for all to see. It has worked well and has allowed our teams to have more dynamic meetings on the spot.

Works great--as long as your device is new enough to accept the casting protocol . one of my Androids is a 4.1.2 and it will only cast YouTube, my others with newer versions will cast a lot more things.

I love the stable internet connection and the fact that I can Chrome Cast from all my devices. This is so great and can be used in the middle of my LAN system allowing me to use it on several locations.

I was very excited to purchase this product so I could stream content from my Surface Pro 4. I had seen the reviews that said the audio and video are out of sync, but I figured it must be user error. It wasn't. I tried everything that Google suggested but nothing worked...the audio simply doesn't sync with the video. Normally, I trust Google blindly but, this time, I'm sorry to say that they let me down big time. This is a real problem that must be fixed. I returned the product for a full refund.

I don't typically purchase many items for Best Buy, but this item was on sale and it was a great price. I however am disappointed with the speed of delivery. Amazon still beats BB when it comes to speed.

It works great. Netflix, YouTube, Hulu works flawlessly. Best app for Chinese/Cantonese used, vchannel. Find the feed and add the channel to get free Asian television series, Anime cartoons and Asian Movies.

As expected, this works really well. Literally comfort at your hand. I like playing music from Google music from my bedroom and streaming it on my TV in living room with full volume! Pure Bliss!!

Already nice gen 1 chromecast was made even better with this gen2 upgrade. Highly recommended if this is your first chromecast. Lot of compatible apps and with google integration it works really well.

This product is just fine. Not as flashy as the Apple TV, but it streams everything I need it to. I don't even mind that you have to use your devices as the remotes. Not flashy, but serviceable. Easy set up, too.

Bought a fire stick thinking it would be more convenient then a chromecast. Waste of money. It's easy to mirror almost anything with my phone and the chromecast app is always giving men new ideas

I have an older flat screen that doesn't have smart technology so i bought this and im glad i did. Only downside is you cannot stream Amazon through this device which stinks.

As with any brand name device this is only restricted to their sites. Wish there was a functionality for it to be able to surf the internet through the device. But overall, it works great for the price

Set up took 5 minutes from unboxing to watching a movie. Firestick may be a bit more but I believe Chromecast is superior. Make the decision and buy one or a few, you won't be disappointed.

This Google Chromecast is my second chromecast. Bought the old model years ago. Both models work good with my TVs and WiFi. I use it for streaming content from my smartphone to the TV.

Love my Google Chromecast! I can now use my old tv (which ive given to my daughter) to cast music, cable tv app, netflix, and YouTube. Works seamless with my other Google products.
