I liked the device, it has solid streaming compare to other streaming devices. The only thing I didn't like is it needs a phone or laptop to use it is not a stand alone device like roku or apple tv.

Got the Chrome using some of my points! It has been a fun acquisition. However, too many subscriptions you have to have a paid subscription already to use or subsequently buy to see any decent programming!

We had trouble with the DVD player freezing while using the apps. We don't have this issue with the Chromecast. Just open the app on a phone and pick which TV too play it on.

I like the newer version, but it doesn't seem to be as great of a difference between the older ones. Only upgrade for my family is the ability to use all types of tablets/connections. Great for people who don't have it and don't wanna spend money for Apple tv.

I bought this for my wife to stream netflix on the bedroom tv that does not have the app feature. It works perfectly and now she streams everything from her phone to the tv as well.

Good sound. Nice look would buy again. Priced right

This gadget is loads better than AppleTV. Way more entertainment and not nearly as expensive. Perfect for college students, recent grads even those that are just down right frugal.

Upgrading to the new chromecast is a no brainer. support for the 5ghz band alone makes this purchase essential if you're running faster internet speeds and expect no lag in your streaming media.

I like watching YouTube and udemy video or anything I do on my phone but it hurts my eyes when I look at my phone screen so that's why I bought a chrome cast so I could cast on the big screen

Bought one for the kids to stream stuff from their phones and not be stuck watching on tiny screens. Worked so well I got another for my parents to bring them up into the hd world.

I don't know what I was hoping for. Some magical device that would change my life, maybe? Anyway, I haven't found it to be all that useful. More of a novelty. I'm sure others use their's all the time. But, it does what it's advertised to do.

I use this thing everyday without an issue i can mirror my tablet and experience my tablet from the comfort of my living room. would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap apple TV alternative.

Ordered because I recently purchased a chromecast tv but needed this product for an upstairs bedroom. Seems to work very well, I'm sure it'll be easier once I really get the hang of it. :)

Not sure what to say. Pro: Easy setup. Con: I've started to explore some apps but I'm not exactly excited. I will be reading more online to see what apps or features would enhance my media experience.

I use this mainly to view items from my tablet on my tv screen. When planning for vacation, it enables the whole family to see the different options as far as things to do, and places to stay.

It's great to have something simple that I can just plug into my TV and watch Netflix or YouTube without being stuck starring at the little screen on my phone. I have one for every room in the house

I got two of these for TVs in different rooms. Work great. Use mostly for YouTube videos and Netflix and Spotify. Easy connection, and a fast response time. Very convenient. Recommended!!

Product works great so far. Easy to install. Haven't had an issues using it at all. If u have a Samsung phone I recommend downloading all cast app to help with watching stuff

The only thing negative I have to say about it is every once and a while when you turn to the input that the chromecast is on, there is a black screen and you have to scroll through the inputs again to get it to work. Other than that it's fantastic!
