The google chromecast is a good device to stream from your phone or ipad to your tv. It is wifi only so you need a strong wifi signal to stream content to your tv. But it does drop out sometimes if you don't have the bandwidth.

I purchased this device to use with my google home. While it does well for playing from cast enabled apps, it really doesn't add any other value. I could have continued to use my web enabled tv.

I have an older model and this new style. The new style lets me place the unit flush against the back of my tv so it can hug the wall whereas the older unit made my tv wall mount stick out.

I'm very happy that I bought Chromecast as it literally turns your tv into a smart tv. It's so easy to cast anything on tv screen. No need to pay unnecessarily expensive cable tv bills anymore.

Our internet provider recently upgraded our service with 100mb fiber optic service. Our adult son suggested purchasing the Google Chromecast for ease of internet accessibility.

The only reason why i bought this is because my old model chromecast never really worked and google refused to honor their warranty

This product is great to have in a spare room for those guest who need to cast things. It has worked so well when you don't have cable in a spare guest room.

Great product to use if you want to connect your phone to your TV, I have even hooked it up to my projector and it works with all different types of phones. Also its wireless which is awesome.

I was so excited to find I could use this product without wires and could connect to my laptop for all my favorite shows direct to my big screen T.V. I would recommend this to anyone.

My son has one and bought it for me since I only have cable in one room. This is so awesome. I can pick up on my fave shows while eating chips in my bed. Kidding. Great product.

Whether cord cutting or just want to view more content on your TV, this is a great device. Along with an Android tablet the Chromecast really takes your media experience to the next level.

In standby it shows static pictures as screen saver, the new flexible cable attachment won't be easily destroyed by pets. For most people, 1080p resolution is still the standard and this does a very good job with that resolution.

Used with a number of IPAD apps, I get free movies and watch sporting events I woiuld not otherwise get to see. Love using it to you tube stuff up on the 50” tv also.

My brother gave me a Chromecast for Christmas in 2013, and I really like it. I bought this for my nephew because I knew he would enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.

This system is becoming more obsolete but it is still really nice to be able to stream you tube videos and videos posted from facebook. Just needs to be unplugged and plugged back in sometimes to work properly.

With the free app it works ok, but I found it frustrating to bet be able to pause/ rewind and such. Only way you can do that is by buying the app bundle, about $7. Otherwise it's great for an additional TV if you don't use on a regular basis.

I don't have cable in my room and haven't in years. It's nice being able to stream Netflix and other shows. I love having options now and the fact that I can enjoy TV in my own room!

I bought the Google Chrome Cast because my smart tv wouldn't connect to the internet. The Google Chrome Cast allowed me to stream videos from apps on my phone and watch them on a much larger screen. I'm satisfied with the product!

My brother recommended me this product because he has one and it work perfectly. Best part about it, I don’t really use the charger to charge it. It stays behind the tv.
