This is great when working, seems to drop wifi connection if not used on a regular. Good thing is you'll know when because it will turn on your TV in the middle of the night to the HDMI it's connected to.

I bought a couple of these for my "dumb" TV's m so I don't have to turn on my game consoles to watch Netflix, etc.Works well but I give it only 4 stars because I feel picture quality is a bit lacking. But then, I am very picky

I had been using the old version of Chrome Cast but it was cutting out. I haven't had any problems with the new one. The rang of this thing is great! Better than my Samsung Smart TV.

Had a few small glitches casting my phone. Installed app recommended by product but it did not work for my android 4.4 phone. Instead installed an app from the Play store - which took care of the problem. App name is MegaCast

That's it, it works just like it's supposed to. Connect it to your tv, wifi network and tablet/phone and the watch trivial videos from your compatable apps right on your tv. Genius.

Very nice way to listen to your music playlists on your TV... connect very easily to your HDTV and with the WiFi relax and enjoy for hours... packed with lots of Free options..

The final result was actually surprising as I am casting to a 70" 1080p and the resolution, whereas not bluray, is highly acceptable and the motion clean and steady, no jumping.

Who knew life could be so great when connect to your home device and hearing quality sound all to yourself without disturbing others!

We have our Chromecast set up with our Google Home. Together it is very convenient to play a video or music on our TV. We like the convenience to be able to tell it to put something on the tv whole we are in the kitchen cooking.

Returned this apparatus. Finally had my 17 year old, nerd, grandson take a look and he also couldn't get any satisfaction. Not ready for prime time, was what "returns" said when I returned it. Apparently returns are common, for this item.

We love this little device. We are able to cast Netflix from our smart phone to our TV. The Twins enjoyed casting videos from Kids YouTube. It also works with our Goggle Home.

Glad I took a chance on this because it works great. Video playback is near flawless. Integrates with google home assistant for the ultimate lazy TV experience. Great!

It takes a pro to use this without the Chrome focused income generation. Once I got the cast setting correct I could use this better with my laptop. Buy a smart TV with Wifi and Bluetooth to avoid these types of products.

The Chromecast is a great little device for having a cheap way to stream videos and such from your devices. iOS support is a bit finicky but it does everything you want it to.

I use my chromecast everyday. It is really an item every household should have. If only more apps supported chromecast, it would be even better. But that is not Google's fault.

Google Chomecast was easy to install and had very well written and clear instructions during the installation process. I have had no problems since installing it.

My Samsung Smart TV stopped supporting that I depended on. I got this to supplement with the apps I am missing. It works great. I do not love having my phone be the remote, but the quality is good. Anyone can control what's on.

Bought this for my son's TV because he kept "borrowing" mine from another TV. Chromecast is simple and strait forward. I like the new design better than the old model as well.

I purchased this product bc i have others in my home and my dad actually likes it as well. Plus, having a Galaxy Note8 makes it easy for him to his Chromecast.

I upgraded to this chromecast for the 5.0 ghz band because my living room and kitchen are close and whenever the microwave is on the 2.4 ghz will disconnect.
