That's it, it works just like it's supposed to. Connect it to your tv, wifi network and tablet/phone and the watch trivial videos from your compatable apps right on your tv. Genius.

I love the fact that if I want to show my husband something on my phone I can just send it to the tv and watch it with me. It is extremely helpful with non smart TVs!

I had been using the old version of Chrome Cast but it was cutting out. I haven't had any problems with the new one. The rang of this thing is great! Better than my Samsung Smart TV.

I use my chromecast everyday. It is really an item every household should have. If only more apps supported chromecast, it would be even better. But that is not Google's fault.

Bought this for my son's TV because he kept "borrowing" mine from another TV. Chromecast is simple and strait forward. I like the new design better than the old model as well.

This product has been pretty good with streaming video from my phone, iPod and iPad, however, I have had several issues trying to stream from my computer. I have issues with the volume or the streaming just doesn't work properly.

Easy setup and no issues it just does it's job. I love it have a few for my house. My new tv has a 4K version preloaded. Got this one for my mother in law as a gift.

This helpful device picks up where my miserable Samsung smart tv falls short. It's sad I know, but I bought a chromecast because my smart TV fails to fulfill its promises.

Returned this apparatus. Finally had my 17 year old, nerd, grandson take a look and he also couldn't get any satisfaction. Not ready for prime time, was what "returns" said when I returned it. Apparently returns are common, for this item.

I am pleased with my decision to purchase this product. I can watch my shows in silence in my bedroom which I couldn't do before because I don't have cable access.

I used to stream all my media to my tv (fotos, music, movies and tv show) works pretty fast. But needs some work on the controls, more options to have access to subtitles, captions

I wanted to be able to stream movies from my laptop which doesn't have an HDmi port. This worked great. No problems. Plugged it into my TV and my laptop found it immediately.

Had to return it for it didn't work for my intentions...seemed like aa nifty little device though...allows u to stream various apps from your phone but not for pro football...darn

I wanted to find a way to watch my Favorite basketball team. I was able to watch my team play from an app supported by Chromecast. I now have three of them. My kids love them!

I have owned a few of the original versions. this is my first of the new version. I havent had any problems with it, yet. solid build with improvements than the first units.

It was on sale and I used some Best Buy bonus points, I ws disappointed on how much I had to pay on interest especially how I paid off my entire bill a few weeks before.

The Chromecast is fantastic. I use it for presentations as well as watching video content. If you are looking for a streaming or mirroring device, this should be one you consider.

Its a good idea to have itvat home. $35 for one time is still cheaper than the money you paid every month for cable. My kids enjoy watching netflix and YouTube in thr big screen tv
