I bought this so I wouldn't have had to buy a Smart tv. My cousin has one and it works really good. I wasn't able to use it because of how the Internet is set up on campus.

Would I race out and buy another one? Not so much. My husband who has a Samsung phone can get his phone to sync a lot better than I with an iPhone. I almost think it'd just been easier to buy the HDMI cord, personally.

Ended up returning this and keeping my Roku. I wanted it because I had a chromebook and could project it onto my TV using the chromecast, but didn't end up using it much.

I love that I can use the Chromecast to cast images/videos from my smartphone or Chromebook to a big screen TV so that I can share stuff with friends and relatives.

i have used its faster than the old one but this model keeps disconnecting from my network other than that it might hold well for others compared to me mos def worth the price

Works very well for casting phone screen or playing videos. Would be better if the official app has the ability to play local videos and a greater video codec support

We use this for listening to music on our stereo while controlling the music from our phones. Also, guests can easily connect and play music and video on our tv.

It's not a plug and play like the Apple TV. You do have to get the app and connect to your tv but it's so cheap. Once you are all set, it works just as well as Apple TV.

I bought this for my girl friend for Christmas but she is not an electronic person so I installed it at my home. I have fun with it just messing with her.

if you are a TV person, it is the best thing to have lots of channels and enjoy your life watching tremendous amount of movies and channels :-)

I honestly barely use it. I got it so I can tell google to turn on my tv when I'm too lazy to press a button. But half the time I'm too lazy to talk so then I'll just press one little button. First world problems.

I believe this unit streams faster than my original plus it doesn't stick out from back of TV, always worried I might snap it off when moving or cleaning around TV.

in comparison to other products this one works well and i dont seem to have any complaints

Works perfectly for what I needed. Plugged it in, hooked up the WiFi and started watching Netflix. Still playing with it to see what else I can do with it. Very happy

I love the chromecast. I had the original model and upgraded to this one. This one is great has lots of functions. I can hit it from anywhere in my apartment.

I like using my chromcast for viewing YouTube videos, and Netflix from my iPad, cellphone, or laptop by using my Bluetooth and WiFi together... it’s easy.

Works great for hooking my PC up to any TV, only complaint is some wireless login like a hotel require extra steps that don't allow it to connect.

I have the first generation Chromecast, which works great still, but I bought this one for a second TV. It works ALOT better than smart Tv's built-in media player.

This is wonderful for watching Netflix. I find the movie on my tablet, click on Chromecast and there it is on my TV. Great.

Chrome cast is something that I think is truly amazing being able to just send a video or music that I'm listening to to my TV or speaker is extremelying convenient
