The device does what it is supposed to do. Only downside is the design. Yes, it is sleek but dangles from the plug-in on my television. Not the best for the cable of port. Besides that, does the job and useful.

Super useful - for casting your phones and movies from laptops or chromebooks on the TV. All you need is google chrome which might even be your default browser

Gifted them to my husband and sons for Father's Day , they are all enjoying them , lots of cool things to do with them. A great gift for guys who have everything !!!!!

It’s the best thing if you use an LCD or LED, you all know how it goes but before going to buy it make sure you have the subscriptions to different apps.

Regular TV to SMART TV in 1 minute... this is what my wife said after we started using it. I think this is a must if you dont have a smart tv yet.

I hate watching TV/videos on my phone or computer so this is great for allowing me to watch things on a big screen. I watch all my Netflix and YouTube shows.

This is pretty cool you can control the entire tv with your google home and it can even turn the tv on and off with just your voice very cool.

First one works great, needed a second for the basement. I really like Chromecast in conjunction with my phone as the remote over the SmartTV functionality.

I like the device, the picture is not the best when you compare it to other devices like the stick, but I like the mirroring option from your Android phone to the TV.

I really like it, the only thing I don't like is some other device must be on in order for it to work.... but on the other hand it's Awesome to mirror my computer and phone. So it's kind of a trade off.

The connectivity is great, but the mirroring is spotty and slow. I like casting my phone videos to show to friends and family. The battery life is lacking and device can quickly become dependent on the power cord.

This is the first "casting" system I've used. My tv isn't a smart tv and this does the job perfectly, being that me and my girlfriend mostly watch Netflix and Hulu!

In overall TV is good. Size and image quality is good for this price. Comes with Built-in apps and TV tuner which is very good. Smart hub sometimes is slow. Does not come with Bluetooth which would be very helpful.

So much better than all the wires and has super reception and transmission.. One of your salesmen told me about the Chromecast unit and solved my dilemma.

I had the original chrome cast but it did not offer the dual bandwidths like this one does. The new version is much faster and loads flawlessly.

Google Chromecast is an excellent device that connects to Google Home where you can control your TV using voice commands. Works well so far no issues.

My boyfriend had one on his TV and I loved being able to watch my favorite youtube videos and listen to music through the chromecast! Definitely recommend!!!

We've purchased this product in the past and decided we needed a couple more to give as gifts. Great for accessing pre-installed apps over wi-fi connection.

This Chromecast is much better and faster than the first gen Chromecast. Has dual band wireless 2.4/5 GHz chip. Does everything you expect from a Chromecast and does it well. The reason for 3 stars is that this is the second 2nd gen Chromecast I have bought because the first one just died 13 months into light use. 1-2 hours a month usage? So it was just burning energy most of the time behind my TV. That is why I was surprised that it died. I switched out power supplies to rule out the power brick and USB cable. So with my experience this 2nd gen Chromecast lasts about a year.

No issues so far and I've had it for a few months now. Haven't had to worry about any disruptions here and there like the older model. Definitely recommend.
