I was very please with how simple it was to install and start using. simple download the app and plug in Chromecast to an HDMI port and start using it.

Chromecast seems to work good for images and some video, but video from my laptop, specifically from redbull.tv viewed on chrome is very choppy. I ended up pluging my computer directly into the tv hdmi port and not using the chrome cast. The chrome cast setup was not particularly straight forward either. There were very poor directions. There is no way to verify, that I can see, that the chrome cast hardware is connected to the correct wifi signal unless it's working. And, it didn't work for a long time. Maybe it's normal that it takes an hour to work at which time I was about to return it.

It works and does exactly what it says. but at the cost i prefer a roku or a stand alone player that doesn't require a phone or tablet to stream from. its just easier

Best Casting device. Have been using for sometime now. No issues. Very easy to watch your phone content on TV seamlessly. Supports lof of apps.

This device offers a great idea in theory. I was told this would run off my router/WiFi situated with my PC in the room next door the room with my TV, and that I would be able to watch webinars I log into online--on my TV rather than have to sit at the PC. Well, the device couldn't read the WiFi, so it didn't work for me. I live 3 hours from the nearest Best Buy store so returning wasn't an option. Now I have a gadget to add to the miscellaneous items I have no use for and spent $35 needlessly. If only the computer was in the same room...it would probably work.

Very easy to use and friendly. It is a great way for watching rapidly a lot of videos available in YouTube, TED, and many other video providers in the social media.

Literally a plug and play device. I use this instead of cable, saves money and a huge variety of content to choose from.

I would recommend the chromecast to anyone who wants to project their phone onto their TV wirelessly, much quicker and easier than any other way of doing it.

Setup was not as user friendly as I would have expected. I was very disappointed in the range of programs that could be "cast". While the Chromecast gadget does work, it has only limited utility. I would not buy it again.

I love Google and their Chromecasts, I would love to see the option to cast from Amazon Video on my phone, but that's on Amazon. Highly Recommend.

Easy to use for tech challenged people:) It is as easy as plug it in and start watching some great stuff!! I like it so much I will buy to give as gifts!!!

Already have 1 of the older models. This one allows you to attach to TV that have tighter USB or hdmi setups because of the fact you're using a wired connection rather than plugging it in like a thumb drive (old model)

Wish more apps would have chrome cast support, but that's not the products issue, it's the developers. The chromecast is a must have if you're an android user.

Bought this for our bedroom TV to watch Youtube and Netscape, works as advertised. Setup can be a little challenging for someone who is not computer / network savvy.

You get a very good deal for what you are paying. If you are looking for something that is not too expensive but works, this is the way to go.

Bought 1 and gotta buy another one. Works excellent on mirroring my movies to my TV. So compact and convenient to carry with you when traveling. Buying another one.

I had the first chrome cast and these new ones are much better. They load almost immediately. So convenient to be able to cast anything from my phone to the TV.

If your T.V is lacking the apps or network capabilities, this will allow you to have fun again with your T.V as if it was new all over again.

I also own an Amazon Fire stick, but also having a Chromecast is definitely worth the extra spend. Love that I can control it through the Google Home App.

This is not my first chromecast. I have given them as gifts to several friends. Great inexpensive gift that is sure to please for anyone who enjoys electronic media.
