this chromecast is a good value and works great however the design is such that it cannot plug in and magnetize properly because of where the other port is.

The chromecast design works well and is a little easier to fit into the hdmi slot than the 1st version. larger section does stick out from behind the tv but is not distracting. Works with netflix and ted talks

The first generation Chromecast was awesome enough, but with the enhancements to the WiFi antennas and form factor, it just makes it that much better. A must have!

Well, the Chromecast is a great way to get internet info to the TV when it is working. Problem seems more to be with the Google Cast app/extension, which is ... inconsistent. We have had to re-load this extension dozens of times on our Chromebook to cast what we need to. Very exasperating. Chromecast was specifically required by our web developer to do what we need (couldn't use other competing products), so we deal with it. But if this were for personal use, I would have returned it.

At $25 I had to get one. And it worked. It does what it says it will. Take it anywhere. If you have hdmi and wifi, you can watch you shows, movies, etc.

Has been working fine, no complaints. Great when traveling, although some hotels don’t give you access to hdmi ports or input changing

I got this after having a chromecast audio first. I wasn't able to cast YouTube video with the chromecast audio device, but it works with this one. I am happy!

Chromecast just might be the best thing since sliced bread! It's smooth and reliable. It does everything I need it to do. You will not be disappointed!

Very user friendly and intuitive. Casting feature doesn't always work I have yet to make it work with Google Home even after trying all recommended commands.

Chromecasting is very powerful and amazing technology for a great price. The problem is that product sometimes looses its connection to the device randomly. A little too much for me to give a perfect rating.

Bought this as a gift for my brother who had just remodeled his basement. He is now able to stream movies from his desktop to watch on his big HD screen.

It's a excellent way to cast videos to tv and if you are not casting any video you can easily cast photos to tv using google photos and tv works as digital frame.

Chromecast is the best way to get all types of content on multiple tvs It is affordable and a great way to minimize the amount of cables going around a home.

This is the third Chromecast device I have purchased and I do not know how I managed without them. Brings the internet to your biggest screen. :)

I love this Google chromecast device, just connects to your tv's HDMI and start streaming once you connect your Netflix or whatever programs you have like HBO Go.

We have both the chromecast and the fire stick. My husband likes that the chromecast can be controlled using his phone, however I do wish it had a remote like the fire stick. Works pretty much just as well.

The next gen Chromecast is worth the upgrade if you have a 1st generation. If you are considering it, the setup process is one of the easiest I've ever done.

The remote application needs to be improved. Watching a show and trying to rewind is nearly impossible. But on the positive side it is great to cast to the TV.
