Nice to watch games on TV through i phone. Second one I have in my house. works well but I will have to up grade my wifi in order to bust my reception. Right now the reception is spotty at times.

Wasn't sure if we would like this because we always had a Roku, but it worked great with our Google home. Makes working our Netflix a breeze!

Chromecast made mirroring my laptop to my television without having to run cables. It is very helpful when trying to use apps or view streaming sites that may not be available on my smart tv.

My wifi on my tv failed. Instead of repairing the tv bought this chrome cast. Better than the tv os. Now I get Netflix HBO go and cast you tube.

I use this Google Chromecast on my iPhone to stream videos through YouTube on my TV & this product is really awesome. Just one thing I think should be improved that it should have a battery also.

I bought the Chromecast so that I could use Spotify on my TV and send the audio through my stereo. I've also enjoyed using it to watch various streaming apps. Great value for the money.

Great. Google Chromecast is one of the best, and not to mention easiest, ways to get video streams on your existing, non-smart TV. Note, however, that it is limited to 1080p resolution.

I was in the process of buying Apple TV and my son recommended the Google Chromecast. It works the same as Apple TV and is only a fraction of the cost

bought a bunch for whole home music. but beware that a Spotify requires a premium/paid account to stream a the same music free from Pandora & YouTube.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She uses it all the time and does not have cable in her apartment because of the viewing options!

Have this installed on a tv in the receptiin of my shop .we csn play anything wewant on it from youtube netflix ect .very reliable works all the time

As was the case with the previous gen model, the Chromecast is a very powerful and full featured device for $35. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone

I purchased it as a gift for my girlfriend. She just bought an older LED TV and added the Chromecast and now is able to watch movies, YouTube, etc.

But you will be limited my the speed of your internet or WiFi connection. I have quite a lot of buffering even using new phone and tablet. Seems to work somewhat better when sending from main computer

Had to do a little research to figure out volume problem. Chromecast comes without instructions so having a techie friend who uses product was a big help.

Bought one 2 years ago for my daughter and she loved it. Bought this one as a gift for my daughter's boyfriend because he enjoyed using hers so much.

I love the Google Cast device. I was looking for a wireless option for connecting my computer to my tv to watch Netflix and this works perfectly.

Product well reviewed, but app "permission details" (you always read those before downloading, don't you?) are ridiculous. It demands permission to go through, change or delete any or all accounts on my phone, and permission to take over control of my camera and microphone, whether I'm using the app or not, in addition to the other more common permissions (like location). Why does Google need my identity and accounts info, and free use of my camera and microphone, to send images from my computer to my TV? This troubles me, and I took the device back without ever hooking it up. There are other options with more respect for a user's privacy.

Have it for over a year now.. no complaints.. got it on sale during Black Friday for 20 bucks.. does what it claims.. worth the money

We bought this because our last Chromecast got squished and broke. This is way better than the last version of Chromecast and updates itself!
