The Google Chromecast is the perfect add-on for an older TV. I have an old samsung smart TV and the software runs fairly poorly now, but with this it makes it a perfectly adequate smart tv again.

I gave this as gifts to all my friends who did not have a smart tv...and they continue to thank me for turning them on to Netflix and great apps.

I love this thing. You can get rid of the cable box and just use the apps for the bedroom or outside watching tv, while smoking a cigar

Google has come a very long way between the first and second generation Chromecasts. 2nd gen is way more consistent with regards to network connectivity

Not sure why I waited so long to buy one of these. Love being able to cast my computer screen to the TV and watch shows on a bunch of different apps.

Our Chromecast belonged to our son who moved out on his own so we had to buy another to watch Netflix. Have never had a problem with either one of them.

Old Chromecast automatically switches inputs when starting a casted video from my phone. New Chromecast doesn't automatically switch inputs. Other than that it does work faster to start and pause videos.

It's faster than the built in feature of Chromecast on my Samsung! I was able to cast the music from my iMac to my tv which has an awesome sound bar!

Google's Chromecast device works very well for it's intending purpose, which is to cast your device's (PC, phone, etc.) screen to your TV.

I don't have a smart TV so wasn't able to watch hulu or Netflix on my TV. For only $30 can plug in this device and watch all these shows on TV.

This is a good replacement for a cable box. Instead of paying monthly I just use the HBO and Showtime app and sign in with my cable account.

had the older one, perfect for use with my projector. Also great for households that have gotten rid of cable and use internet as primary tv provider.

What a great cheap little media hub Google has been able to create. This little device is able to power my whole home entertainment system. Love it!

This works perfectly with my computer chrome browse, my google home, and google pixel 2 XL. It very easy to connect and stable connection.

I really like my laptop nd it is very convinient, I can use it as a IPAD and it is touchpad also. its removable from key board and it is not very heavy

We use this all the time. Great for music, videos, sharing, endless possibilities! What a deal as well. We have one connected to every TV in the house!
