    Not sure why I waited so long to buy one of these. Love being able to cast my computer screen to the TV and watch shows on a bunch of different apps.

    It's faster than the built in feature of Chromecast on my Samsung! I was able to cast the music from my iMac to my tv which has an awesome sound bar!

    Google has come a very long way between the first and second generation Chromecasts. 2nd gen is way more consistent with regards to network connectivity

    I had a Stupid TV and almost spent 4 digits to get a Smart one. The $ saved getting a Chromecast was spent on some other foolishness.

    Got this after i recieved a google dot......its nat to use voice commands with the tv, but more a "cool" thing than necessary. Also cool tobbe able to access netflix using my android....

    Our Chromecast belonged to our son who moved out on his own so we had to buy another to watch Netflix. Have never had a problem with either one of them.

    Old Chromecast automatically switches inputs when starting a casted video from my phone. New Chromecast doesn't automatically switch inputs. Other than that it does work faster to start and pause videos.
