I am not a tech savy person at all and refuse to pay for a committment service for television and especially for programs I am not interested in.

Is working goog but I think that device needs more RAM memory to improve the buffering. For other applications that device is running good, allways I use the streamer for channels for other country.

Virtually non-existent documentation; setup marginally difficult until you realize it is tried to the Chrome Browser. After that it works quite well depending on one's innternet bandwidth.

Does what it says on the tin. Only issue was an occasional drop off of connection between device and Wi-Fi. A simple restart fixed the issue.

I wanted to use a movie file from my laptop and show it on a monitor at a reception following a funeral. I explained what I wanted to do, and the salesman at Best Buy said it would work. It didn't. When calling the company for tech support, they said it was designed to project the internet from your computer, not your own movie files. What I wanted to do was just "experimental." I ended up putting it on youtube, and then projecting that since it was on the internet. But didn't really want my family movie on youtube. So, make sure you know what you are buying it for.

Much better than the old version! I love the fact that it's got a four inch 'cord' to make it easy to plug into hard-to-reach places. It's great!!!

The new Chromecast video works great and is pretty fast with very little (if any) lag while streaming. Great product to own.

I donot have tv just internet so this chromecast lets me watch basically any thing that's on tv this is the way to go cuts the cable bill

When paired with the right app in the android OS most images and multimedia files can be cast to the big screen. Several apps to do the job.

works great since my tv has no internet connection i use this to stream my laptop to the tv. great for watching youtube videos on larger screen

Quick and convenient way to watch stuff from my phone on a bigger screen. Mostly music from youtube and watching shows on random websites.

This is our second Google Chromecast and my kids love it. We got the second one for my dad so he can watch his church on Sunday

Google - Chromecast - Black is a great product for casting your media and mainly youtube. I ve been using it for a long time.

Just what you need if your TV isn't as smart as your phone. Easily cast from any Android device (and possibly others as well).

not much of an upgrade. Yes, it has 5Hz capability, but I don't notice a big speed difference. The form factor is worse than last model, I like the stick design better than this hanging circle.

It works great when using my mobile as a hotspot with my laptop. I am able to cast content from either my laptop or my mobile with ease.

Bought my mom one of these for her birthday. She loves it. She streams HBO and showtime and Netflix off her iPad. Really easy to set up and use.

I own all previous versions of Chromecast and this one is the best yet. The built in cable allows for tv's that are closely mounted to the wall.

Bought to link TV to Google home and works great. I just wish it did more than YouTube videos, but hopefully more content will be added soon.

I have old TV which doesn't allow to share content from my phone. and also it's very small so it's very convenience if you need to switch
