There's No difference from the last version besides the design. Works the same for us! I do like this design better, seems more portable.

It must be always connected to a Wi-Fi router in order for you to use it from your phone as a matter fact it only works with wi-fi this is a $35 1 but I got it for $25 on Black Friday

Purchased the Chromecast for Grandson's Christmas gift. He was surprised he received it. Had wanted one. He saw ours and asked for one.

I have heard a lot of positive stuff about chromecast, so I decided to save a lil money and buy the new chromecast rather than other competitors' version. But unfortunately the experience was AWFUL and had to return it. we all use iphones in our home so I was a litle concerned but read that the new chromecast works fine with iOS, but this was not the case. Every single time we wanted to cast something on tv, it wouldn't connect and we needed to reset either the network or unplug and replug the chromecast. the compatible app selection is so limited too.

I purchased this version of the chrome cast as my original one stopped working. I like ht new design of this product. It is flexible for other parts of the ports of the TV.

I bought this to broadcast my desktop in my office. This works exactly the way I need it. All the other features are a bonus.

Only trouble was the packaging. The main component is so small that I didn't see it. A sales clerk said the same thing happened to her.

The main limitation is not supporting screen mirroring from my smart phone. You can only stream from supported apps, and yet Chrome on iOS is not one of those which makes no sense,

If want to broadcast phone or computer content to TV, this is the product you're looking for. set up was simple, with no glitches so far.

My son recommended this several times before I listen and went and got one. Amazing little gadget, worth more than what it costs.

This workes as advertised with no issues. Has some nice features for the apps for when built in tv apps won't upgrade any longer.
