Checked reviews for old versus newer version of chromecast and decided on the newer version which is supposed to be faster.

I have this item for more than two year's and I just buy my second one for a second TV, highly recommend

I like the Chromecast cast initially but after a few months I went an got a fire stick which I prefer more as the streaming contents was better.

There's not much to complain about and it does exactly what you want .with little to no problems this is a good product.

I bought this since my living room tv doesn't have a built in chrome cast and it's great for when the children visit.

Eliminates need for HDMI and now I can cast easily to TV. Some times movie quality isnt the same when you cast Vs When you watch directly from Laptop.

If you have a regular HDTV then it does add the casting feature but to actually stream things with it you need a good smart phone or Tablet. My Tablet wouldn't even display photos very well on the TV. I recommend the ROKU or Apple TV instead. They cost a little more but are worth it and the ROKU express is only $30, the ROKU stick is often on sale for $40. (I actually recommend the ROKU Premiere + if you can afford it). The Chromecast did come with free HBO, everyone loves free HBO!

I enjoy viewing from my phone to a large screen. This makes it easier for the family to what I'm seeing.

I love these! They are great for anyone who likes to use internet based tv and movie services! I use this instead of cable.

I purchased it for chrome casting as a wireless presentation option and for that purpose it works great

Haven't tried anything but connecting to my phone. Have to try other items to be sure. So far so good, but may change my mind if it doesn't connect to all devices.

I loved the chromecast. I bought it for my son. He enjoys it because you could control it with your phone.

Have an oled tv that didn’t support most apps for viewing. This device made it simple to cast my phone.

Good product it is very nice to have a big screen as a cel phone. Only bad comment is that if your net needs web authentication than it will be difficult to work.

So many apps support Chromecast and you can cast any Android phone and Chrome. Can put almost anything on TV

Bought this for my son's birthday. I might get one for me! This thing has good features and an amazing build quality.

This is my 4th Chromecast. Since a lot of things have Chromecast support, it fits my streaming ecosystem perfectly.

We have 3 chrome cases in our home now. The only one thE doesn't have one is my son and we will be getting him one...

It is a solid companion to the chromecast audio I have. I can play back several things including from my google home.
