No complaints. I use it everyday. Lot of apps are now supporting Chromecast, so it is a must have device for everyone.

great for what it is. i can watch netflix, hulu and with a third party app watch anything thats already on my phone.

Eliminates need for HDMI and now I can cast easily to TV. Some times movie quality isnt the same when you cast Vs When you watch directly from Laptop.

We've used other, similiar products (ie: Roku) but have found this the easiest to use and have been very happy with it.

Works very well as a cable replacement, you just have to subscribe to different providers to access as much as cable. It can only work as fast as your internet is.

Have an oled tv that didn’t support most apps for viewing. This device made it simple to cast my phone.

I loved the chromecast. I bought it for my son. He enjoys it because you could control it with your phone.

Checked reviews for old versus newer version of chromecast and decided on the newer version which is supposed to be faster.

So many apps support Chromecast and you can cast any Android phone and Chrome. Can put almost anything on TV

There's not much to complain about and it does exactly what you want .with little to no problems this is a good product.

If you have a regular HDTV then it does add the casting feature but to actually stream things with it you need a good smart phone or Tablet. My Tablet wouldn't even display photos very well on the TV. I recommend the ROKU or Apple TV instead. They cost a little more but are worth it and the ROKU express is only $30, the ROKU stick is often on sale for $40. (I actually recommend the ROKU Premiere + if you can afford it). The Chromecast did come with free HBO, everyone loves free HBO!

Love being able to make any TV a smart TV. Screen sharing my phone to the TV is also very helpful.

Haven't tried anything but connecting to my phone. Have to try other items to be sure. So far so good, but may change my mind if it doesn't connect to all devices.

Love this product. We have 4 in our home. Never had any issues with connecting. I can't say anything bad about it.

I love these! They are great for anyone who likes to use internet based tv and movie services! I use this instead of cable.

Good product it is very nice to have a big screen as a cel phone. Only bad comment is that if your net needs web authentication than it will be difficult to work.

my original chromecast would not work if it was not in front of the tv. this one works even hanging in back.

This is my 4th Chromecast. Since a lot of things have Chromecast support, it fits my streaming ecosystem perfectly.

Not sure hhow I feel about the new design but the new added features makes you forget about it after a couple days. Overall still a great product by Google.
