    Google Chromecast is an easy interface for streaming. It does lack a remote like its competitors, but for the price it's worth it

    The new generation is much better built to be plugged into my receiver. It doesn't stick out as much thanks to the dongle cable.

    I think of all of the streaming devices on the market, the Chromecast is my least favorite. I prefer having a device with apps and a remote that anyone can use...where you don't have to pull out your phone to use it. If you have guests without a smart phone they can't use the Chromecast. I like using it in conjunction with a google home device but other than that I prefer my Apple TV.
