Great for casting Netflix and YouTube videa from my iPad. However I have to use google chrome on my laptop for other videos since there is no chrome extension for iOS.

Google Chromecast is a very good streaming device. It was really easy to install, it was up and working in less than 5 minutes. On the other hand, replicating the Chrome tab into Chromecast was faulty and worked sporadically. I read forums and guides and was able to get it to work but only some times. This is a known feature but the number of apps supporting Chromecast is limited. I expect that will grow really soon

Overall, this is a cool product and I've already recommended it to friends of mine. However, I would change a couple of things. First, it would be great if there were a remote for it - I don't mind using my phone and it doesn't drain the battery, but it would still be better if it had a remote. Second, no matter what I tried, I could not get Netflix to work from my laptop. Youtube and everything else I tried worked fine, but Netflix would not - which is the main reason I bought this item. It's fine, because Netflix plays perfectly from my iPhone, but from my PC (I'm not a Mac user), it was a no-go.

I bought this product to watch mainly "you tube" on TV screen! Instructions are very easy to set up. The only thing is sometimes it freezes (I do not know because of my computer or not). Otherwise, I like it!

I bought this so my wife could watch shows on her TV in the sewing room (there is no cable connection). It was reasonably easy to set up and the Chromecast works as advertised. Two things, first, don't loose the HDMI extension. It is used to better connect to the web if you are getting a weak signal. Second, make sure you have a compatible Pad or phone. It won't work with older ones.

I really like the Chromecast as it's inexpensive and fairly easy to setup. I'm still hoping for more channels, but it makes it real easy to display your screen on the TV.

I bought this for the sole purpose of watching videos from the internet on my 55" HDTV that my PS3 couldn't handle because of lag or download time. This product is great for that purpose, but I wouldn't expect much more from it, for instance Youtube runs separately from the computer and therefore tends to not be as smooth or quick for upload, but it's still pretty quick. If you are looking for a cheap and simple device for basically up-sizing your monitor then this is the gadget for you.

Works well but took a few minutes for device to connect to my network. Noticeable difference between SD and HD streaming videos when cast to a large screen TV. Can't beat it for the price and portability.

ChromeCast is one of the best technological purchases we've made. We do not have a Smart TV but having ChromeCast allows us to stream Netflix and other online content effortlessly. What an awesome device!

The chromecast is a good device to connect to your TV and stream shows without having to be connected with the utilization of wires. Great for streaming Netflix!!

The chromecast is great and easy to use. I can stream most TV shows from my laptop and Iphone - it's awesome. I hope they add more apps like AMC and USA soon though.

It's a great option for those not willing to spend the extra 300 dollars for a smart tv. Everyone just get a chromecast its simple. Just missing support for HBO now

There's no end to the cool stuff I can stream. I could spend countless enjoyable hours finding cool music videos on you tube and streaming right from ny phone or pc/ Works great for Hulu and Netflix too.

The Chromecast works flawlesly. My only complaint is that it only works with apps that support the device. However, I can foresee many media apps adapting the device.

The product works as promised and provides good connections from one's computer or phone to the television. A good product and reasonable price and simple to install.

It is a really convenient product. I use it with multiple devices in the house that are both Android and iOS. It can be used with my phone, tablet or computer. It is also convenient when I am in a hotel.

Just plug it in, download the app and start streaming from your smart device. So much easier than having ANOTHER remote control. It even came with 2 free months of hulu plus, this made an excellent gift!

If you only need Netflix on a TV with no intelligence then the Chromecast can be your ticket. It's cheap, and it's incredibly easy to install. I intentionally did not read the instructions, and as all things Google...setup could not have been simpler. So it's connected, now what can I do? Well there are very few built in applications. Netflix being the only one of any value. Yeah Youtube is nice, but I'm really never going to watch Youtube on a television. What I really wanted was the ability to play Pandora (coming I hear, promises promises). Or at least the ability to send what's on my iDevice to the Chromecast.....uh, nope, doesn't play well with Apple. So until Google shares their toys with the other kids, and until Pandora and other useful apps become available...Chromecast is a simple and cheap Netflix player (though it has potential for greatness). I for one am staying tuned, but will hold my praises until it shows me some more tricks.

So easy to setup and to use: my iPhone manage what I see an I can also stream films from my PC. I can hear music from Pandora and Spotify.... Just a word: Amazing.

Great Product! I am now able to stream from all my devices - iPAD, Samsung Tablet, Samsung S3 easily with minimal setup. iPad setup is not 100% due to Apple's limitations on Apps and from Chrome Browser.
