Perfect item if you don't have a Smart TV and good price. I heard another one comes with a remote which is cooler, but this does the job!

I thought this product wouldn't connect with any of my apple products, turns out I was wrong. It's great for those with tablets that want to watch a show online but on tv.

Simple and easy I absolutely love my chromecast. It displays pictures of beautiful landscapes when I'm not using it and helps mirror my android screen. Must have tech!!

We have put one of these on every TV in the house and love it. Between streaming the usual cadre of Netflix, Hulu, and the like; being able to stream anything else is great!

I do not have a smart TV and am tired of watching netflix on my phone. It was a great deal for the price. It'seasy to use and was easy to set up

Setup was easy and quick, quality of image is better than expected. We've used it on different tv's and it was easy to change.

I'm a big fan of wattching youtube and it allows you to connect to youtube to my much larger tv from my phone or laptop. the only flaw is the huluplus app is a little glitchy

I really like my Chromecast device, but be advised that it needs a strong WiFi signal to work well. I attached it to a TV next to the room where my router sits. I was overjoyed streaming one of my favorites, but halfway through, it lost the signal and went into a circular process of not recognizing my WiFi and needing to be rebooted and frustrating me for over an hour. I transferred the dongle to my set that sits right next to my router and haven't had a problem since. The HD quality is flawless, but you'll need a reliable signal.

With the Google Chromecast you can stream Netflix, Hulu, and more. I have had this streamer for a long time and it is still working just as great as it did when I bought it.

I was going to get another product that is higher in price. But this is basically the same thing at a fraction of the cost and works exactly the same! It's a great product.

Great product to stream media from my computer and phone. Actually returned my Roku for this device. Although, I admit that the Roku provides more from a choice standpoint.

This is the 4th Chromecast I have bought. The second that I have bought as a gift!. If you enjoy technology and giving your tv some additional capabilities this is for you!

I bought this the evening that Google announced its release, and boy was I sure happy I did. Only 3 days later, every retailer was completely sold out and these things which are normally a huge bargain were selling for over $100 on eBay. While I really love this thing, that price is insane and you have that kind of cash, I'd recommend a more expansive streaming device like a Roku, Apple TV, or Google TV--depending on the platform you prefer. In a nutshell, the Chromecast is very similar to the other streaming devices I just mentioned, but with one exception, it's way cheaper. Albeit, Roku, Apple and Google TV offer much more providers, but they also come at a considerably higher price tag, and in reality, if you can open it in a Chrome tab on your computer, you can probably cast it on your television...and any television you have in the house that is. I really only have one big complaint about this product. I feel like the advertisements were really misleading. If you watch any commercial on the Chromecast, Google will have you thinking that all it is is a little dongle that you just pop into an available HDMI port and you're off. However, that's not entirely true. There's also a charger that needs to be plugged in, either into an available USB port right on your TV or into a Wall Adapter. While this isn't a huge deal, it's obvious that this extra "step" is an annoyance, which is clearly why Google left it out of their advertisements. Note: If you do have a much newer television that is equipped with HDMI 1.4 ports, you lucked out! Your HDMI ports should provide enough power to the dongle that the USB power isn't needed.

The chromecast is a great product. Easy set up and serves its purpose however I would rate the fire stick higher for it additional features,

No extra remote i can use my phone, tablet, computer or ipod to control it. The new updated chromecast app is awesome too .

Easy and quick to connect to the TV and to the iPhone. It didn't take 15 minutes to get everything set up before I was able to enjoy watching NetFlix on my TV in the basement

I love this new dongle. I can play my music tracks, youtube videos,etc. Over my television. The music tracks display album cover, artist, and song title. I use it daily.

This is a great device to stream all online content directly from your web device to your TV. Great price, easy to use and serves its purpose very well. Cannot fault it at all...

If you want to have a smart tv this is the device for you! Super inexpensive, easy to set up, and in my opinion better than more expensive options (roku, Apple TV, etc.).

this is a good product for sharing video and pictures with friends and family. It is easy to setup and works virtually anywhere, anytime.
