A pretty great little piece of hardware. I enjoy it very much! Works great for turning a non internet connected tv into a streaming tv.

After gifting my son with a new to him tv, he discovered his Google tv no longer worked. Quick fix - Chromecast! Kids were watching their toons on Netflix in nothing flat.

I bought it for $30 bucks and good reviews. i figured if it wasn't a big investment if it didn't work as expected, but i like it so far.

This has allowed us to easily watch college games as a family on our TV when we can't be there to watch our daughter play in person.

Do you want to stream anything from your android phone? Chromecast is what you need. No longer is a separate PC required to use Netflix and whatever in the living room.

Simple and easy to set up. You won't be disappointed. If your purchase movies from the Google Play Store they play back perfect on whatever device you have this looked up to.

In my opinion the Chromecast is better than the Apple TV as it works with Apple, Android and our PC. Excellent and it helped to turn our TV into a smart TV on a cheap.

Opens the world of Internet programming for those of us tired of major TV network programming. Easy to install and use. Best purchase for the money I've made in years.

It was easy to set up and casting was easy. Only thing is it's awkward fitting as others note but they have the extender so it fits.

Works great casting from laptop or Ipad to TV. Can only cast applications compatible with Chromecast, I cannot figure out if I can cast videos from hard drive to TV.

Intially I was looking to purchase an Apple TV as opposed to chrome cast but the price difference ultimately pushed me to chrome cast. I simply wanted to use it on a Mac laptop to mirror. This device does not work well in a Mac even though it claims compability. It works great for a couple of hours then disconnects. Returning and getting Apple TV.

I like it but it could be better. I have several movies downloaded to my tablet. Which should make for easy & smooth streaming I would think. Lags. But great for youtube.

Installation is quick, easy, and straight-forward. Knowledge of how a basic home network is configured is helpful, but not required. The on-screen directions are spot-on.

My only complaint about this device is that you must have a smartphone or tablet to control what you watch. It had no built in interface to browse through. Things I like about this device are too many to number. It performs flawlessly with apps like Hulu abd Netflix. The random pictures are spectacular. Compatibility is great it works with all TVs with HDMI.

The Chromecast USB is perfect for streaming every thing! I use it daily, especially for movies, TV, etc! Definitely recommend this.

Chromecast is a must for those without cable. Easy to setup. Easily watch your shows via Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, ESPN, etc by casting from your phone, computer, ipad, etc.

Chrome Cast works great. I am blessed to watch Netflix, Hulu, Show box through mirroring or streami. Must have product!

I was spending $80 a month for a pretty basic package from Directv. Out of the 200 plus channels offered, I found that I routinely only watched about 5 or 6 of them. I was already subscribing to Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime, and found that I could watch everything I wanted, when I wanted. Due to my work schedule I wasn't watching anything during it's original broadcast time anyway, so the 24 hour delay imposed by Hulu was not a concern. I chose to go with Googles Chromecast based mainly on price. I got it on sale and used my Best Buy rewards points, so ended up spending about $25. Set up could not have been easier. I simply plugged the unit into my TV's HDMI port and an instruction screen automatically popped up on the screen and walked me through the set up process. Connecting to my homes wireless network was a breeze. The only slightly annoying aspect of the whole procedure was setting up my iPhone to act as the remote. Once I downloaded the app I needed everything worked flawlessly. I am now watching all of my favorite programs on a 52" screen instead of a 13" laptop, and saving $80 a month! I am completely happy with this purchase. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with it's own remote control, but then they would probably have to charge more.
