I love this idea. it makes traditional cable or dish obsolete! you can stream most anything and take it from tv to tv with you. Plug and play design and easy to install.

This is a awesome product to convert your TV to a smart tv without connecting any other devices. There are a ton of apps available and more to come. Easy set up as well!

I was spending $80 a month for a pretty basic package from Directv. Out of the 200 plus channels offered, I found that I routinely only watched about 5 or 6 of them. I was already subscribing to Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime, and found that I could watch everything I wanted, when I wanted. Due to my work schedule I wasn't watching anything during it's original broadcast time anyway, so the 24 hour delay imposed by Hulu was not a concern. I chose to go with Googles Chromecast based mainly on price. I got it on sale and used my Best Buy rewards points, so ended up spending about $25. Set up could not have been easier. I simply plugged the unit into my TV's HDMI port and an instruction screen automatically popped up on the screen and walked me through the set up process. Connecting to my homes wireless network was a breeze. The only slightly annoying aspect of the whole procedure was setting up my iPhone to act as the remote. Once I downloaded the app I needed everything worked flawlessly. I am now watching all of my favorite programs on a 52" screen instead of a 13" laptop, and saving $80 a month! I am completely happy with this purchase. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with it's own remote control, but then they would probably have to charge more.

This product is so cool to use, we love it. It brings our family together to watch a new released movie right at home. i would totally recommend this product to others.

It's the easiest thing to plug and set up. Love to stream all my movies and music. Plus it gives your the freedom to stream pandora,netflicks....etc and so much more!!!!

This product is amazing.. i have never had a single problem with it.. streams everying directly from my phone or tablet with a perfectly clear picture.. i LOVE it!!!

This is my 2nd chrome cast and is definitely a must own for any person with a HDTV and a smartphone. You get your bang for the buck with this little piece of equipment.

I bought this so I can cast my browser to the TV without having to plug in my HDMI cable. Works great, highly recommend.

I really like the fact that I can stream netflix and youtube from my ipad. I can even turn off my ipad white its charging and the netflix/youtube videos will still play.

We have loved using this and find it is great for Netflix, Pandora, and also YouTube. Makes it simple to view your favorites from your phone to any TV in the house.

Enjoy watching Netflix using chromecast. Gives u the benefit of not having to use a blu Ray device n enable subtitles. Other apps are cost based like hulu n hbo plus n I haven't used them. Have tossed YouTube videos on tv with it. Very convenient. Would love if they expanded to support more apps n also if single worked without having to b plugged in constantly. Thought it was supposed to charge so we shouldn't have to.

Set-up is easy as 1-2-3, which is actually what the instructions look like. Just plug in the dongle and power cable, download the app, and follow the app's few steps to set up the device. The iOS app kept crashing for me during set-up, but I also have an android device and it worked flawlessly. Unfortunately support is pretty limited, only Youtube and Netflix on iOS it seems. However for the price it does what it does well.

I'm enjoying the chromecast, it's really nice and easy to use. I wish there would be more apps for it such as games like Family Guy.

Having a ball streaming Netflix, and time traveling to the 80's MTV era when MTV showed Music Videos. I just select my favorites group on Youtube and go back in yime!

It works great. I use it daily with no problems. After you set it up it is easy to use. It is exactly like it is described in the description. I think it's a great buy.

Very happy with our Google Chromecast. We are now able to see Orange is the New Black and several movies we've wanted to catch up with. Very easy to install and use.

I haven't used cable for a long time now since I mostly stream on the internet. The Google Chromecast is a perfect way to bridge the gap between your PC and the television. All the control is through any devices you already own; whether it is your laptop or cellphone. You can "cast" whatever content you want to view right on the TV. If you have a compatible device, you can even cast the entire screen. It's a perfect way to view content on your television without investing a lot of money. You can also power the Chromecast through a USB port on your TV so that it automatically turns on as you turn on your TV.

this little device is amazing. it lets you stream from virtually any mobile device or computer in your house to any Tv with an HDMI port. Definitely worth the purchase.
