I cut the cord and dumped cable. I use my chromecast daily for streaming Hulu and Netflix. Hard to beat for thirty five dollars!

With chromecast I can watch movies whenever I want to.. It is so easy to install. If I can do it, you can too. Didn't even have to ask my grandkids for help.

I purchased this product when it first came out and was very pleased on how easy it is to setup and use. The price can not be beat and the product is continually updating and getting better without any additional costs. I now have 1 for each TV in my home and have turned on all my family members to this product.

This is a great little dongle that will network all your media entertainment sources. Laptop, phone, Home computer, replaces TV apps at way better speeds.

something new to learn scared me, but the chromecast proved to be so simple to set ip and use, plus I never have to worry about loosing my remote control.

I've been hoping for a device that would allow me to stream programming from Europe I have by subsription. No such device existed until now--and only $35.00! I am not computer savvy, but even so I was able to set this up in a few minutes. Super easy, and no more cables from computer to TV, etc. I hope Apple makes it functional with my Ipad soon, but if not, I'm still delighted with using it with the PC.

The chromecast is my first casting device and it has proven to be worth the $35 that I got it for. It makes casting HBO Go onto my TV seamless and enjoyable.

Works well. I bought it basically because my smart TV did not have the HBO Go app. Enjoyed some of the additional features like backgrounds, etc. It doesn't have any inbuilt apps.. So everything is controlled using your phone. You browse movies, videos in your apps on the phone and then when you're ready to stream, you have to cast it. That was the one negative. I'd have liked to browse on the big screen. I guess you could use a laptop/tablet too, but that's what I was trying to get away from.

Basically the chromecast is already pretty good; incredible for the price. It's easy to set up, and lets you stream netflix, etc, with more apps coming. What would really make this perfect (and make me revise this to a 5), would be if Google enabled local media streaming.

Super easy to set up and super easy to use. Now I can watch Netflix from my phone with a few taps and I can watch tv from my mac without buying any adapters.
