The unit appears to do it's job in picking up wi fi signals and throwing the images onto the TV. No complaints. It will even throw to another room from my computer. The price is great for a wi-fi unit this small and unobtrusive. I am optimistic Google will have more sites compatible with it soon. For $35 bucks, it's nice to have on hand.

Fun to share things from my phone with others on the big screen. Also has a great picture when playing Netflix, HBO Go, etc.

ChromeCast is a fantastic video-casting device that gives its users lots of flexibility and options for "casting" content from computer or mobile device to the TV. The setup process is extremely simple and easy, so you can have your ChromeCast up and running within 5 minutes of opening the box. The main function of it is to cast app-based video content to an HDTV (Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, etc), as well as mobile device whole-screen casting for pictures. But Google also has a Beta version out that allows browser casting from your Chrome browser. I highly recommend this product!

We have two Chromecasts, and wouldn't trade them for anything! We started with a Boxee, then went to a Roku, and now we use the Chromecast. This experience has blown the other two away. It's easy to use, and you can stream local content through the Chrome browser!

I didn't even know about Chromecast until a friend of mine brought his over when he came to visit. It's great to be able to pull up videos people e-mail to me, movies or Broadway HD events (one of my favorites) on my laptop and casting to my TV--so much better watching on my big TV than my laptop, tablet or smartphone. Sets up in seconds and so easy to use.

Chromecast is my new favorite toy. It is very easy to set up the first time, with the on-screen and app prompts very easy to follow. The in-app streaming interface is very nice and easy to use. And at $35 the price is impossible to beat. The only downside is that there are not that many apps available...yet. But from what I've read online there should be an explosion of new apps available soon.

This is a great product. It's very easy to set up and use. We use it to watch YouTube videos, Netflix movies and MLB games on our tv. We really liked it!!!

This is my fourth cromecast that I own. Purchase this on for my son college dorm room. Was very easy to install and start watching your favorite movies.

The Chromecast is a great little device, justified by its low price and the near limitless potential. It works simply and easily once you know how it works. The app selection is getting better but still needs work. The mirroring tool covers some holes, but is not smooth enough for a perfect long term solution. And because of their price and design, they could work great as a whole home solution.

With the rising of prices in cable TV and universe I was able to save myself $82/m with my purchase of the Chromecast. Peace to those over priced services.

This is a very cheap and easy solution for anyone that doesn't want to have to worry about hooking up a streaming box. Works great with phones and tablets!
