Set this up using my uverse internet, insignia tv and galaxy s4. Easy to set up and display internet contant on the tv (which does not have a uverse box).

Purchased googlechrome for my parents to use. Set up was extremely easy, and it works simply and intuitively with laptop and smartphone. Great product

I use my Chromecast and wireless home network to stream NetFlix movies to our HD TV. Chromecast was very easy to set up and works great. The Netflix movies are clearer than ever and there is no buffering. I can cast using any of my portable devices (phone, tablet) as well as my desktop computer. For only about $35, this is a great way to watch NetFlix movies and other streaming services.

I love this product. It makes it very easy to stream anything that I want be it Netflix or HBO. Anyone can use it with their phone, tablet, or laptop.

I have Netflix and watch YouTube, so having this is very convenient. I actually have 3 in the house and thinking about buying another. I have one tv that has the Samsung wireless hub, but wasn't as cheap as this guy, so this one for the win. Not to mention how easy this was to set up and doesn't take up room.

I bought this product to improve my home home theater system. Chromecast paired with a Plex media server gives me the ability to have my entire media collection at my fingertips. From playing movies and music to sharing pictures with family and friends. There are far more uses than this. You can also share your entire phone screen(on select devices) or a tab in a Chrome browser from a networked laptop/desktop machine. Not all apps offer a 'cast' feature. If you intend to use this product with a certain application, be sure it is supported. In the box is the Chromecast stick and a power cable, can't get much more simple than that. Plug it into an HDMI port, give it some juice and you're ready to roll. Setup takes less than 5 min and can be done from a phone or computer located on the same local network. It is also handy to take to friend's house. No need to carry extra batteries or special remote. You will need to go through the setup process to configure it to their network and again when you get back home, but as mentioned, the process is pretty painless.

This product works as well as expected. I love streaming Netflix on my old 2012 tv. Screen mirroring only works well if you have a fast local network.

My only regret is that I put together a httpc right before this product came out. After I bought the google Chromecast I almost never use the httpc...

I recently purchase the Chromecast Media player mainly for my wife's usage and she and I love this device. Easy to use and carry around whenever needed.

I like the chromecast a lot but it could be so much more than just a good product. Pros: Good apps, no remote to lose, use with anything that runs chrome, turns your TV into a SmarTV by letting you mirror your screen. Cons: screen mirroring is choppy and learning curve for those of you who aren't used to technology, the biggest thing is if you have an apple TV you are going to start fresh with a Google play library since every company has its own library and they don't like to share!

I installed it to watch videos in a projector and works perfectly for my porpuse

This is the third one I buy as a gift for one of my family members. People like it, specially older people because it is very simple to plug and operate.

Worked really great our of the box, easy to install and operate. No issues. My 5 year old uses it to watch netflix, Hulu, etc. Great buy and great price.

Got mine last Christmas and I love it. Its cheap way to get Hulu Plus, Netflix, Pandora, HBO Go on you TV, can not beat the price of less than $40 bucks!

A decent streaming device especially if you watch ESPN, and the price is reasonable.

I love this device! We purchased another one to use in our home for the simplicity of the set up and the mobility of the device. you could take it anywhere with you. the only limitation are the amount of apps allowing you to view with the chromcast but i anticipate more apps being able to view with this device as popularity grows. All i really care to view right now is NetFlix and Pandora.

For the price it can't be beat. I cast from my iPhone and MacBook almost daily. It works very well and it's easy to set up. I recommend this to everyone.

This is very user friendly. You can cast your own video's up on to your tv. That is always fun around the holiday's when the parents/in-law's visit.

I love this device. Very easy to setup and use. Although make sure it's not too far away from router. Can be choppy while streaming if bandwidth is low.
