Simple useful item. I can transfer whats on my tablet/computer to the TV

It takes the hassle of extra cables to connect my laptop to the TV. If you use it for Netflix and just internet pages in Chrome, its a good buy

Good Device for instant streaming of videos. Occasionally drops connection

Our daughter uses this daily even moreso than viewing the tv. Setup was very easy, we purchased an additional one and also for Christmas gifts.

What an easy way to stream Netflix and ESPN3 to my HDTV. The only concern I have it that it is a little flimsy.

I love the chromecast. Whether I'm using my iPhone or android tablet it works great. I have one, and I recently bought one as a Christmas gift for my mother. Overall, the device is great and I love it. I don't have any problems with the device itself, just wish they'd add a couple of features... I wish I could use the mirroring feature (for mobile/ tablet rumored to be in beta on some android devices.) I would like to see that made available across the bored for all androids and other comparable products. Also, I wish spotify was supported.

I bought the Google Chromecast to make a gift. The person who received it is really happy with the performance of this Streaming Media Player.

Easy to use. Plug in and quick set up. Fil loves eBay on a 60" screen. Sure beats a laptop for viewing the web.

This product is great for the price. I can watch anything from my phone or PC directly to my TV. Plan on taking it on trips to use in hotels.

I think everyone should have this device. You can take it place to place. The only thing i do not like about it is I have to leave it plugged.

We mainly use this for Netflix and it is great. now we don't have to fight over not being able to see the iPad.

I am very happy with my Google Chromecast and have used it several times since late December 2014. It was very easy to set-up and works great.

I have 3 Chromecast, they work great casting from phones, tablets, and computers. Never a problem.

I have a first generation flat TV that was not a smart TV. I installed the Google Chrome unit and now I can access apps just like a smart TV.

If you have an Android device (I use the LG G3), the Chromecast experience is second to none. All of the shops, from Google Play Music to Netflix work seamlessly, with no major hiccups. With regards to screen casting from a laptop, there is a slight delay, but nothing major. The experience will be mostly focused around consumption from mobile devices. Overall, the Chromecast if a great addition, even to televisions with smart features (typically the smart TV interfaces are slow and laggy. Chromecast bypasses the clunky features).
