We use 3 of them on different TVs in the house. They are Great for streaming from our phones and laptops to share with guests when they visit.

If you have an Android device (I use the LG G3), the Chromecast experience is second to none. All of the shops, from Google Play Music to Netflix work seamlessly, with no major hiccups. With regards to screen casting from a laptop, there is a slight delay, but nothing major. The experience will be mostly focused around consumption from mobile devices. Overall, the Chromecast if a great addition, even to televisions with smart features (typically the smart TV interfaces are slow and laggy. Chromecast bypasses the clunky features).

Bought one for myself and a friend. Easy to set up, streaming with netflix and Hulu+ work well. Wish there was support for Amazon Instant Video since I prefer to purchase episodes of current shows there. Would be nice to be able to customize the photo background images that are displayed with the device powers on.

I heard some great comments on this and when it came on sale, I got it at a great price and I'm glad I got it. Works great with my iPhone.

streaming from a pc to the tv, kind of glitchy, but ok. streaming personal videos from my phone is excellent.

Very easy to setup and use. My wife and I find it very easy to cast different videos and programs to our TV. Awesome features for the price!

Thought it was a nice tool to show my granddaughter some good kid shows on the tv instead of the lap top computer

Love being able to easily transfer things from my computer or phone onto my TV! It's as simple as plugging it in and connecting to your WiFi.

I have a chromecast on every TV in my house. If you watch shows on your computer you NEED one of these. I've bought them as gifts as well.

Good streaming device and got it for a good price. I am able to view anything from my cell phone anywhere in the house---obviously thru TVs.

Chromecast was easy to setup but it took a bit of effort to learn how to "cast" any program from my phone to the TV. But it worked great.

This is a device that is great to have, with or without a smart TV. Can easily stream Netflix, Youtube, etc. straight from your device(s).

Make your tv smart .work with almost all kind streaming. I have lg tv with web os dont work with my note 4 .problem solved with chromecast.
