Shockingly easy to setup and use. Apps still need work but once my cable contract is up, i'm going to cut the cord.

does not work with safari or even chrome on ipad. Other than that - excellent product.

I was amazed of how easy it was to instal and use. I end up buying one for home and one for our office break room. Anyone can use their Netflix, Hulu, etc and enjoy their favorite program on a full size screen. At home my daughters play their favorite Youtube videos and dance along. Awesome little gadget for under $40.

i bought this product installed it in minutes and started streaming. My girls love streaming from their Iphones...

We are really enjoying Chromecast! Whether or not we are streaming from it's selection of supported apps, or from a tab in Chrome...we are not disappointed! It is so easy to set up and use, and you just leave it in and go. A definite alternative to cable, as far as I'm concerned. Well worth the inexpensive price tag!

I got this so that I can watch movies from my mobile phone to my tv. It doe's a great job, I am very happy with it.

I have really enjoyed my Chromecast, I have used for Netflix, Pandora, and YouTube.

Chrome cast allows me to quickly cast many videos and movies on my large screen tv.

This is a neat device. It is easy to setup and use. Sure beats plugging your phone into a cord to see it on the TV.

To be fair, Google opened their development kit and several new apps have been added recently. Presumably, many more should be on the way. The set up and overall use is incredibly easy to use - I bought one for my parents, who are by no means tech-savvy, but they are able to use it just fine. The ability to put it in your pocket and take it anywhere is nice, and for the price you can't complain with what it does. But local streaming of personal videos from a device is somewhere between not possible without additional purchases and hit or miss with video format. I expect to pay extra for a Netflix subscription, but to stream a video on my phone should be standard. I expect they will add this eventually, along with more services like Amazon Prime, ESPN, etc. Full screen casting of a tablet or mobile will really make this shine. Until then, it does enough to warrant $35, but the potential gives it the chance to far exceed the cost.

This is just what I have been looking for - a way to make my tv smart. Now I can watch Netflix, HBO go , etc. Easy!

Plugged it in and loaded the chromecast and was able to operate and view netflix from my phone within about 15 min.

I now have 3 of these and love them.the do everything I need and more for way these than the other product options.

For the price, it's a great little invention. My only problem is the number of apps that uses it. The advertising leads you to believe you can watch anything from your computer as long as you have the chromecast, which is not true. This is app specific, which is limiting
